      • Got a TD of apache 180.
Can't believe people tell that sitting position of apache is more aggressive than that of R15.I found it comfortable.

You might've ridden the new version. I personally think the old version was very aggressive. New one is relatively comfortable. Even then, yes, the RTR is nowhere near as aggressive as the r15 in ergonomics. what about other aspects of the bike? Any other observations?

            Sent from my WT19i
Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.

            Rides : Honda CB Twister(Feb 2011 - Present) | TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS(Sept 2012 - May 2016) | Honda CBR250R C-ABS Repsol(March 2017 - Present)

Yes,it was the new version. If I had not known about the vibration issue of apache,I am sure I will not have felt it at all.
Safe to say this was the most fun bike I have ever ridden!(I have not ridden duke, made me think of getting RTR second hand, can't get that thought out of mind now)And the service center guy was the coolest,he let me ride as much as I wanted and let me rip it.This is very unusual in kerela,as they would normally ask to book it,before test drive.

Is there anything special I would want to know when going for apache second hand?Any expensive niggles to watch out for?
I am thinking about the new version with abs.How much I should give for a 1 year old, abs, good condition,8k run?Hopefully low resale of TVS will be a boon!

                          • Anybody here have ridden both 2012 and pre-2012 version of 180?
I want to know that, whether there is a difference in riding stance!I always thought it was a pure cosmetic upgrade.
Checking out std versions now,as ABS is very rare and expensive in the second hand market.

                            • Yes!!! Riding position is different but this all are completely dependent on Rider, I feel 2012 more stable at higher speed then 2011, personally i like 2011 Mode's look more then 2012 but I won 2012 one ...
