Saw the bike.Obsevations-Originally posted by albyjose View PostWhat would you guys give for 2010,apache 180,9k run, good condition?Owner asking 47k.He said he got offers for 46k.Going to see the bike tomorrow.
1)Both stock tyres have no thread left.No idea how he managed to eat the threads of a 9k bike.
2)Rusting on exhaust(He said common in all apache)
3)One side bar end weight missing,so was unstable.Unable to judge anything else
4)He said the power is too much for him to handle,so he went to service centre and disconnected one wire or something.According to him power of apache is coming from 2 wires(tubes),he disconnected one to reduce power. He said on connecting both wires the bike will fly.I have no idea what the hell he was talking about.
Not impressed!

Apache 180,2009(september),23k run, black,Showroom condition as told by the owner.Asking 45k.Going to check out the bike.Is 45k fair?He has added projectors too. Both tyres, battery new."Vibes transmitted from crank shaft to frame, then through the bearings of the head stock and into the stem where it meets the triple clamp and into the clip-ons where it is greeted with great pleasure by my hands"-ratfighter mod rtr

This one seems like a good offer. Mine is same,(sept 2009,but 43 kms done). and I was offered 45 K. So this one actually seems legit, with the projectors as add ons.Originally posted by albyjose View PostHere comes the next ONE:

Went to see the bike, other than some rust on exhaust, little fading of plastics could not find any thing else bad.Took a test ride, absolutely nothing wrong. He has to sell the bike urgently as he is going abroad.Originally posted by sambit View PostThis one seems like a good offer. Chain sprocket, battery, tyres new.Projectors worth 8k(He told so,I am not sure? Are projectors that expensive?) also added.Else bike is stock.

seems worth it. The faded plastics can be restored very easily with a little care.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
If he really spent 8k on the projector, its top notch. No way of telling though. 45k seems a little over the top to me. Buy considering that the battery is new n stuff... I think it's a good deal.Originally posted by albyjose View PostMe too think so!
