            • My RTR 180 does not start in the cold .. I have to use the choke to get it started and it staggers for some time..after around 2 kms its normal..19450 on the ODO is it a problem with the tuning or somethings wrong in the engine side?

              Thank you in advanced!

It seems that the air fuel mixture is lean, try to make the mixture rich by half a screw. Also check your idling R.P.M it should settle around 1200 to 1400. Avoid riding with choke on. Follow proper warm up during morning.

TPS stands for Throttle Position Sensor. TPS helps the Apache to get that 'Racing Throttle Response' by triggering the carb & electricals to the throttle movement. Its seldom that TPS is the culprit for starting trouble. Do you face jerks during the ride? Also check out for your spark plug.

my spark plug is DENSO iridium! and 1 years old! 5 minute after start in cold climate the jerking will be observed. after engine warm up completely jerk diminished!
in cold climate bad starts and starts with chocked!
My Exhaust is very vibrate and damaged!
what is Secondary Air Injection and Secondary air valve behind of fuel Tank?

                      • air fuel Mixture screw is 3.7 x 180 degree rotate! this setting is correct?

                        • 3.7x180 or 3.7 half turns is lean mixture. Re tune it. But avoid tuning on the basis of rotations.

                              • Crossed the 17k km mark on my bike..
                                1. 7 punctures on the rear tyre ,out of which 2 are a year old..The old repaired punctures have started leaking air again. How to repair the old punctures..?? Can the old inserted strips be removed OR should new ones be put over the existing strips..??
                                2. Rear brake pads were changed at 12k km.Now the braking efficiency of front & rear have decreased drastically.I get a metal scrapping sound while applying full rear brake. The TVS mechanic says the brakes are fine & brake pads are NOT worn out..What could be the problem..??Bleeding of brakes required..?? & TVS SVC claim to have "cleaned" the pads & disc, during a service a few hundred km back..
3.Got the spark plug changed. It costed INR 115. Do TVS replace the spark plug by a "Bosch Super R6" plug.?? Coz they appear to be slightly different & the gaps of the electrode appear to be more.
