    ^ That's correct & true story.
i dont know what exactly you require, whether its just the assembly(which includes just the head shield) or complete setup.
As yours is 2012 edition you dont have much changes. What I said was about converting from old to new model, which requires lot of changes.
Whatever I said is the quote for complete change including the shield, the console, the switch gears & carbon panel.
Also the labour charges are different in each service centers. Some guys quote more while some less.
Anyway I just said what those guys said. God knows what will be once anyone starts the real implementation.

It wont cost 5-7k. My friend did it to his grey RTR 180. 3.5k. DIY. At home.
Looks bad actually. The headlamps sort of jut out and without the new tank fairing, it looks shit.

Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.

NO! I didn't say that! I'd say, old RTR was like Dara Singh. Bred in the gymkhana. New one is Hrithik Roshan : Bred in the gym.

Sad to hear about Shiwaan's bike...i had read in the news papaer long ago that the bangalore RTO wanted to come up with a system wher they put a device which holds a sim card, if the bike is stolen they can track it..this never came into existence not sure why and what were the glitches

And prateek i browsing ebay for some gloves and noticed scoyco mc08 for 675 by sansclassic do you think its original and worth buying?? compared to this MX-40 ?

MC08 costs 700 here in delhi, ebay is a gamble IMO. No doubt both are good and vfm gloves, but of you are thinking for MX40, look into mx3 as well

BTW I am both Vin Diesel and Rock fan

If just the color change is priority you can get SMDs

How about the DSG Moto entry level one it's 950 bucks

One more thing, if you had to buy a jacket scoyco (how much would this cost?? 3-4K?) and mc40 (1K) So let's say total combo 5K
Or joel's ffe which one would you go with? (I'm not sure about the price, would really appreciate if you could tell it instead of asking me to pm him? )

I haven't slept for last two days, so damn confused!

sansclassic riding gear stuff on ebay is an imitation IMO and ive raised my doubts on this earlier on the riding gear thread. (they had alpine star gloves for 250rs and monster gloves for 300rs!!)
and coming to your sleeplessness, are you comparing investment in riding gear with a ffe ?? , the ffe costs around 7k-8k from joel i GUESS (heard from other people who bought it).
But if your confusion is riding gear vs ffe, i would say RIDING GEAR. And most jackets cost upward of 5k (dsg, cramster etc..)
