and coming to your sleeplessness, are you comparing investment in riding gear with a ffe ?? , the ffe costs around 7k-8k from joel i GUESS (heard from other people who bought it).
But if your confusion is riding gear vs ffe, i would say RIDING GEAR. And most jackets cost upward of 5k (dsg, cramster etc..)
Thank you so much for the effort

One more thing, if you had to buy a jacket scoyco (how much would this cost?? 3-4K?) and mc40 (1K) So let's say total combo 5K
Or joel's ffe which one would you go with? (I'm not sure about the price, would really appreciate if you could tell it instead of asking me to pm him? )

I haven't slept for last two days, so damn confused!

I am using Scoyoco JK17 for past 2 years now, and trust me the protectors in scoyoco are far better than others (refer my signature, there is a comparison), but being a textile jacket you will be a roasted chicken in summers but it will do good in winters.
DSG Moto Mesh is good but somehow I didnt feel the palm area material not that good.
My vote in jacket goes to Cramster Breezer , I am getting it in few months too.
For gloves MX3, will serve you easily for minimum 2 years

Coming to exhaust , Joel's FFE will cost you 8600INR (including shipping), but as written by s1d, I would say RIDING GEAR should be the preference....anytime

problem is that the pilot lamps are now two seperate modules. not the old plug and play bulbs (i think so...couldnt open up the whole module)
so didnt want to mess up the whole unit just for a trial run. SVC guys said that we have to buy the whole head unit as a piece,(LED DRLs not available as a seperate unit )

Bullcrap. I have 2 headlight dooms and one entire assembly. I was told that everything inside the old headlamps was put into the new ones. I don't have the old LEDs.

If you still go on using that your brake pads scratch the brake disk and the disk has to be replace or it looses its effectiveness. I also had the same problem and I am still repenting.

Well in brake pad there are wear marks and we need to observe on a regular basis to ensure that we dont go below the wear mark level.

I am having problem with the front brake pads now. They have started screetching again. I have already replaced the front brake disc pads few months before because the pads had got fried during my trip to Konkan. I really dont know how to deal with this screetching sound. I got it cleaned with a high pressure water nozzle and the sound stopped but not for long its back again.

Sorry for the late reply, had been away! Yeah there are some bear marks on My Disc too, had to ride the bike unfortunately as I had some important work to do that day! Btw, where do you live in Pune? I live on the yerawda side.

Also People, had been to a short trip of 200km recently. During this ride, we were speeding mostly at 100-110 given the roads were smooth stretch for nearly 160kms. What I noticed was, the bike seems to be more open to throtelling now, even when I ride in city. So is this My imagination or does things like these happen? Also since I'm done 11k km on My Bike, I was thinking about replacing My air filter and going for the GS 150R Paper air filter, used by Drifty, some time ago. So any body used it yet? Can You comment something related to it again Drifty?

                      • if you say in 1000bucks price range then it'd be Scoyco MC40(1000), or Cramster MX3(1099) or DSG motomesh(950) seniors like prateek say mx3 is the best option in all these

                              Been there done that!
Throttle response will be much better and 0-60 will also be quick, but it may damage some of the internals. diaphragm got punctured when I was using it, mech said it was due to un even air flow, not sure if filter alone was to be blamed.
Better stick to stock paper filter, stock engine oil. They do their job well.

thats what the SVC guys said. both SVC at trivandrum. guess they havent got the new model's spare parts yet.. went there to get a new 10A fuse which was blown out some days back(to stock it in the spare box), and the dumb guy gave me the old kinda fuse... and when i told him that new ones having socket type(blade) fuse, he started going through the catalogue. neither did he find it , he even said that they are not having that kind of fuse at any SVC and i have to get it from some outside shop damn , why are they even selling the new model here if they cant provide the exact spare parts.

P.S. just for trivandrum guys, the SVC i mentioned in the last is LOGTECH TVS.
