    Regarding switch :
Try cleaning the RH switch assembly. If you are not sure how to go about opening it, try spraying WD40 from outside. May be some contacts are blocked.

Guys Remember is your bike is not older then 1 a year you can change your Swtich assembly under warranty ... YES YOU CAN .. I"ve done ...

adding WD40 is solution only if Water is the problem & it licks black color liquid too on your scoop better tell them directly that "You've tried cleaning it adding WD 40 & all thrice or may be more then that but still it's not working as it should be" .. That's it.

No no, I said nothing about downgrading to a mineral oil!! I was asking whether I can start using ax7 right away without waiting till 5000km! Can I do that?

              • @Sudhir: For me, it's quite the opposite. I used to get pain in the right wrist in the normal position(Started after a year of ownership). After getting it changed to the racer position, i've started experiencing pain in the right shoulder blade. May be my riding position has gone faulty these days?

                • Guys I saw this HID in e-bay for apache
                  HID for apache | eBay

Anyone has tried this. As it is 35W I hope no need to make so much of modifications for fitting this, I mean no need for DC conversion or coil-rewinding.
                  Also is this legal??
                  Its quoted 1300k+.
Will it be really helpful for night riding especially in highways?
Do I need to make specific changes to headlamp assembly. I mean its reflectors & body covering, because normally HID produce immense heat, so will it cause any damage.

Only HID is illegal. More over it will provide more glare than good throw. A projector not only reduces glare but will give HID its focus.

                      • Posting a query for the first time in the thread

Is it possible to have a tyre hugger for the RTR? There are no welded joints in the swing arm. Yet. Is it possible?
It's not about the RIDE. It's about HOW YOU ride :]

If you weld the joints, of course you can. The hugger should have a good clearance from wheel though. Apart from that you shouldn't have any major issue. I would suggest against it though.

Welded joints. Yes I know. And clearance I know that too I meant any other viable way? Like connecting it to the axle point?

                            • Can someone educate me on TPS, how it works, why, cost and effect of the TPS on the performance.
I know very little about it or say nothing

I feel the little pocket rocket's performance is reducing gradually, just want to make sure if its the TPS or airflow mixture or the carburetor diaphragm Can someone educate me on TPS, how it works, why, cost and effect of the TPS on the performance.
I know very little about it.

I feel the little pocket rocket's performance is reducing gradually, just want to make sure if it’s the TPS or airflow mixture or the carburetor diaphragm, bike has run around 2000kms after the service.
And last week when I was on my way to Nandihills the bike on the highway did not cross 116kmph (with pillion)even after sticking the throttle for a very long time, earlier there were days that my bike really clocked 124km/hr.

If the pickup is high (or let’s just say the fuel being on rich) will it affect the top speed???
                              FYI i get a mileage of 32kmpl
