          Cant tell about engine may be drain bolt fell off, but if your petrol tank hasnt got any dents that will reduce your bill a lot. Check the front forks alignment.
          To claim insurance you must have a valid DL, park it in your SVC they will take care of everything, they will have a insurance claim form, fill it up and talk to them during spot investigation.

                How is your fiance? Really sorry to hear about your accident. I too had one about a month ago. Just call up the svc and tell them what happened. As long as nobody else was involved in the accident, you shouldn't have a problem. Fill out an insurance claim, hand it over to your svc. They should handle it thereafter. And if your insurance people have a cashless scheme you won't have to pay any bills.

                  And about the insurance, so I have nothing to do eh? I mean just fill the form n wait for them to say how much they would take care of, rest pay thru the pocket blindly?
                  Like the car windshield is there anything in bike that will be fully reimbursed always?

                      Well. They will not try to cheat you out of any replacement. That's against the law. Whatever is damaged beyond repair will be replaced under insurance. What can be repaired will be repaired under insurance. As per your policy, the insurance people will pay for say 90% of all metal parts and 50% of fibre parts( these are figures under my policy I dunno about yours). Also some % of labour. You will have to pay the rest. It won't be much compared to what is covered under insurance.

                      I went through my policy. There isn't any part in my bike that is fully reimbursed. Check your policy. You'll find all details.

                        Last night I disconnected tail lamp (one beneath pillion seat) and headlights + console lamps turned on I took it to SVC near my office but he didnt even bother to look into it and said that switch needs replacement. I will take it to my regular SVC in weekend, need to check the wiring.

                            After using Veedol Super Swift for 700km, today when I checked the engine oil level, it was one X below on the dip stick. People who have used this oil, please confirm if this oil has a tendy of disappearing ?
