Yes Leo Vince, they donot make exhaust for RTR but with some jugaad you can install Fazer's on RTR tooo

Yes I am absolutely aware about K&N Filter stand alone doesn't improve sound of bike & you know I've argued on this a lot time ....

But K&N/Cossworth Filter with Iridium Spark Plug & Spitfire cable can do some good to RTR (And I Would be happy If my bike sound wont change too, not doing for sound but for little bit performance) & practically i think it will make make rpm stable & also will help in better A/F performance ...

      All the best then.....

P.S : Adding any exhaust to your bike means you would be playing with the exhaust outlet which in itself is a precision job. Dont you think if Leo Vince wanted RTR users to put Fazer's exhaust , they would have mentioned that it can be used in RTR "too".... I understand that our country is full of "jugaad", but we need to stop using our bikes as guinea pigs for different "jugaad" or experiments

Whats the problem in Jugaad ? :O

I Mean only if Leo Vince gives Certification to xyz exhaust we can use it ? we should change this thinking & start Doing some research & R&D, that's how you develop something ... Leo Vince doenst make ehaust for RTR (Specifically, coz of Sales perspective) same when you Joeled your bike you are again doing Jugad kind of thing in language of TVS company, if its available then why TVS Can't make it ? simple as that ...

Other Question OT is why does people mod there mobile (custom rom) ?

Sorry to say but the kind of R&D you are doing will riun your bike. You can not just swap any exhust in any bike, there are certain specifications and parameters that needs to be followed. And you are saying that installing joels performance products is a 'jugaad', OMG. Joel sir has the skills which I highly dought you have, his products are tired and tested.@all: installing aftermarket freeflow airfilters will never reduce viberations, what must have happen with vivekgautam is that his a/f misture must have been on the richer side and by installing a ffa, the rich mixture was compensated making the a/f mixture near to optimum which in return reduced viberation.

And my question is "WHY?" . Are you not happy with your bike? Human being starts experimenting or in Indian terminology jugaad-doing when he has no other option to make his thing better. The more you do "jugaad", the more you are endangering the reliability of the stock part

Now coming to this part. Have you ever noticed that the exhaust outlet of all bikes are of different sizes, but yes we Indians, just to save some money do all the "jugaad" and use it, without thinking what would be the long-term effect on the bike/engine.
You want to do some research and R&D, go ahead and do it on your bike, and if you get the best result post it,but don't give the same idea to others to do that till you have something in black and white. Don't you think TVS , Leo Vince, Joel have not done their R&D before coming up with their respective products. You said Leo Vince dont make exhaust for RTR, do you have some written proof for that from the company or you work for them, that you are so sure of your answer? I
Lets do this your way, try PM Joel and ask whether his P220's/R15's exhaust can be fitted on RTR, and he will give you a good explanation.

Now to your OT on ROM, I am sure people were happy with Nokia 1100 when these mobiles was not there or were they not? One would only go for custom ROM when you either hear a good experience from your near and dear ones or read a review from a pro on a website like xdadevelopers etc etc. Will you go for it if your close friend says , "My mobile hangs more often after the upgrade." . Would you keep your 15k-20k worth mobile on stake just for a ROM/ OS upgrade? If someone does, he need to change the way he thinks then.

The fashion of K&N, Spitfire, Iridium plugs was here in 2008 and it slowly vanished because of increasing issues that the users faced.

We, Indians have the best brains in the whole world, still we fall in the "developing country", you know why? Because we trust more on jugaads and saving money than going out and spending a little more on reliable things. And if this goes on, we will always be in that category.

For any other queries, you are welcome to PM me, or msg me on FB. I would like to stop the gross OT here

Had to agreed with you, bye the way, what I am thinking now is to find out the exact reason of Vibration after that we can atleats overcome 95% of Vibration's if not 100%.. What say's guys ?

                      And to those
Who want Roar sounds & all with K&N Filter, please note just installing K&N Filter will give you a joy of a Year or may be half of that but it will be pain in a55 after your bikes goes on running thousands of km ...

                      NOTE plz
@All (new RTRian's)- Unless its Been Certified or Completely trusted by any of the owner (who are capable of trusting & have proof to trust) do-not try any of the modification mentioned by anybody here (INCLUDING ME)... Keep in Mind that I am doing this all R&D & research kind a stuff keeping all necessary back up & appropriate knowledge (practically), so please stay with Stock as its a worthy too, unless you are really wanna explore everything of your bike extremely. And yes I am well aware about the damages I may end up with my bike ... so please listen to Prateek & Viscmad (senior & trusted owner's of Apache) and I am agreed to there point cent percent (about Filters & Exhaust).

                      Thanks.

                          • @shaby as said by Prateek we all are EQUAL we all are Tribals We just shared what we know, and we being fellow biker want to helps each other. We just want that you dont waste your money and your bikes health on unnessary modificatons. Now coming to the viberations part, it will never completly go away. Tips to control viberation: 1. Do run-in well, use engine breaking more while in run-in. 2. Try to keep the A/F ratio to optimum 3. Keep chain cleaned and lubed 4. Use mineral oil for atleast first 5k km. These are only some of the simple tips one needs to follow to reduce some amount of viberations.

Also got a very good mileage on the trip, 46kmpl from a 42000kms(38 months) old bike.
So we were riding almost the same time, eh? Went to hills and the ODO reads the trip to be a total of around 1100 kms. And buddy, out of the 14.5 hours of the riding on day-1, almost 8-9 hours would've been in rain The mileage I got is 43.5kmpl including 300 odd kms. of ripping in hills
