That was very nice R&D which worked .. will surely try it once.... Can you give me detail of Air filter ?and is there any modification need to install it ?

I recently put a Crossworth air filter, now the bike's vibration has reduced drastically or you can say, someone stole the vibrations..No vibration till 110kmph, the ride between 50-95 sees no vibrations at all..The throttle response is smooth, acceleration is become even more crazy & the roar of the bike pass the 6k rpm range will just put a huge grin..I found a increase of 2-3kmpl fuel efficiency (but too early to confirm). The only problem is chocking past the 8.5-9.5k rpm mark. Overall experience of bike with the cross filter is excellent.I wish the bike comes with better stock filter..After a ride on aftermarket filter feels the RTR had serious cold/cough.
COSWORTH??? as in the real cosworth??? the famous one??? did you had to modify the filterbox in anyway for the new one???

Either you are running on Dry Chain(not oiled) or the chain needs to be adjusted for proper tension. Get it checked ar your SVC.

@pcgamer ^^^ Only intake sound will change not loud as K&N, but still noticeable. I felt that in foam type air filters it was not breathing properly, with paper element it can breathe easily so better throttle response and since its a paper type can clean it easily. And best part is that GS150 filter is a direct fit to RTR. Its better you start doing these experiments after warranty period is over.

Regarding Vibes no it wont help, and I dont know why but when ever i ride on empty tank it vibrates a lot. May be the fuel will help in absorbing vibes to a certain extent. So I always run with more than half tank

The R&D is not yet over, its just begun..
As of now,NO other sub-modifications has been done.
I have to do a few things like;-
1.Putting the filter inside the airbox..(now the filter is directly fixed onto the carb.)
2.Up-jetting of the main jet is required..(trail N error method & will vary from bike to bike & environmental conditions like altitude, humidity etc..)
3.A spark plug with a better heat range or a heat range which will suit the FA mixture correctly..
            The details;-Round Tapered Universal Air Filter, Diameter: 3 in (76 mm),Cotton Gauze/sponge..
Try out different types of filters, take a test ride & if you feel the airfilter is working/fitting fine, purchase it..

You are very fortunate to always have more than half tank..
& when the bike runs in reserve or less fuel, I've observed vibrations, uneven throttle,etc..That is due to uneven fuel supply..When riding on a full tank, the front end is heavier & well planted, handles better..

Up-jetting is a trial & error method, you may or may not need to do it..

Thanks. I usually run it with about 1-3 litres in tank. The max I've ever filled it is for Rs.600 . Regarding the air filter, I'll try to fit it in a month. My bike is about 12.5 months old. Still about a year of warranty left. But I'll just put the old filter back in case I need to claim the warranty. I haven't done any sort of mod to it yet. So, 'll do it.
BTW, Do I need to buy anything else to fit the GS150R filter or is it a direct fit without any modifications?

P.S Would someone help me in removing the speedo console? Which bolts/screws need to be removed?

Yes, it happened on my RTR when I got it washed. Like Kantu pointed out, it is because of not enough of lubrication on the chain. After the wash, I washed my chain with diesel, lubed it and allowed it to settle for around 6-7 hours. The chak chak noise disappeared after that. Get your chain cleaned and lubed once again.

i filled my baby's tank with full holding capacity. By the way, you guys. This is weird. And unbelievable. And unimaginable. I've done about 130kms on my bike. N I haven't lost a single bar of the fuel indicator! :O So basically I'm getting a stupendously amazing mileage of well over 60Kmpl. That too on a new bike. :P Something is wrong with the fuel level sensor right?

I stay in RPC Layout, Vijaynagar.

And about the fuel indicators, I fill up my tank completely once in 20-25 days. The indicator bars starts to go down only after 150 Kilometers. And also keep in mind that it won't show the exact reading all the time. The reading varies from time to time. But i can manage around 410 - 425 Kilometers until the reserve indicator lights up. BTW, where do you stay mate?
