The max speed I have done is 133 km/h, (could have got a couple more at least if it wasn't for the stupid drivers in front of me who were going side by side ). But it needs to be totally wind free to get till there. The 5th gear definitely does a lot more than 9k. What is the quickest 0-60 you've managed on the console?

I think RTR180 has rev limiter somewhere beyond 12k as I think it's too risky not to have one. Even if it exists there, it'll be pretty hard to notice. My bet is on 12-12.2k. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
That's what I too feel even though all the blogs say no rev limitters. Every bikes will have it at some point though many wouldn't notice as at that high rpm you cant look much on your rpm meter as you need to concentrate on the road . Also its important to have it if you are looking for long life in engine. My 0-60 is around 6sec. I know we can do better than that. But I haven't tried much on that. Then that day I could reach only 9k rpm as there was pretty much winds & some portions cross winds & also I had a heavy bag on my back. Maybe as you said the engine must have maxed out.

I think thats normal, me too have to pull the clutch fully if I want to start the bike while in gear. Still let others confirm.

Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                    • New Beast with ABS

Hello Guys. Booked the New Beast with ABS last week and will get the delivery sometime this week.

The dealer (Chhatrapati TVS, Pune) told me that, because I am buying the ABS version, he will get the waxoyl coating done for free but i really doubt it. Is there anyway I can tell whether they have done the Waxoyl coating or not?

Also, I did not have a very good experience with their SVC. I owned TVS F2 for 8.5 years which I exchanged for the New Beast and used to get the servicing done from the same SVC but they never did good job on the bike even missed to tighten the handlebar twice and left front disc loose once.

Are there any good SVC near Kothrud, Pune where I can get my free servicing?
