Thanks but i had already read this post and i have some doubts.Originally posted by Rtrlover83 View PostPlease go through this post (#10459) by Drifty. http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post796932
Since there are two lines(markings) on the TPS rod which one should coincide with Wide open throttle. It would be very nice if anyone can post a DIY on this topic.
I have tried to adjust my TPS and now the bike is running excellent but it is not set according to Drifty's post. The throttle spindle turns first for around 1 cm after which the TPS rod starts coming out. Both don't exactly move simultaneously from the beginning. Although my bike is now running good but still I would like to know which adjustment is correct. Any help is appreciated.YOUR BIKE'S KEY IS THE SMALLEST THING THAT GIVES YOU THE POWER OF "X"BHP

TPS connector
Today i was inspecting my TPS and I noticed five connectors are present in the connector coming out of the TPS but in the connector going to the TCI there are only two connectors.
Can anybody please confirm this...YOUR BIKE'S KEY IS THE SMALLEST THING THAT GIVES YOU THE POWER OF "X"BHP

Yes, it is.Originally posted by rio.acharya View PostToday i was inspecting my TPS and I noticed five connectors are present in the connector coming out of the TPS but in the connector going to the TCI there are only two connectors.
Can anybody please confirm this...The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

Thanks dudeOriginally posted by Rtrlover83 View PostYes, it is.
Also i opened my TPS today. As drifty said it gives continuity in one part and doesnt in other parts of the throttle. But the thing is as per its design it should give continuity in higher rpms when the tps is pulled out fully and should not give continuity at lower rpms when the tps is pulled out slightly.
when i opened my tps it was full of dirt and water thats why it was giving resistance which can confuse the tci and hence the hiccups. I cleaned it thouroughly with soap water and petrol and let it dry. After installing back bike runs like a charm. The roar is back.
although it is a small and inexpensive piece which can be replaced any time it gets dirty but still i just wanted to share the knowledge.Last edited by rio.acharya; 07-06-2012, 09:07 PM.YOUR BIKE'S KEY IS THE SMALLEST THING THAT GIVES YOU THE POWER OF "X"BHP
