Sorry bro, I dont know any mechanic there. I used to give my bike to Yadav for servicing, some recommend Lokesh. Try to directly contact the manager.

That is what I've heard. I dont think 130 can even be fit on a RTR160 even after doing the jugaad

Btw I had ordered Michelin Pilot Sporty 90/90-17 for front from changemytyre.com for 1700+ bucks. Got it today and fixed it and what a change from TVS Srichakra! (had also changed rear to MRF Vyde recently) the handling is very precise now, it goes exactly where I want it to & I can feel the front tyre clinging to the road in corners. But it doesnt look as beefy as stock tyre even though the size is exactly the same. I guess the tyre profile is more round. But it provides the necessary grip which is all that is needed.

    • Completed my first service (Clocked 510)

My beast now is super smooth and cool

I waited this long to use my beast's real power, I've ridden the bike through 105km speed It was awesome and amazing pickup by the way.

Here is what I felt like

      1-4 RPM Medium Pick Up

      4-6 Bit laggy

6-8 Super smooth and Speed is uprising within seconds I think this is the point where my beast have it's power.

I'm not planning to rip my bike but I couldn't resist the temptation to feel the power of beast :P

I'm gonna keep speed above 65 till 1K and RPM under 5K.

I was getting mileage of 45 before service, hope that continuous btw I was like restricting speed to 50km till first service.

Do I need to take care of anything for the next 500km(till 1K) ??

Bro,The price was INR 2700,after bargaining got it for INR 2600(with bill)...I haven't tested the tyres in wet as its not rained

The tyre is really good,it is somewhat soft rubber tyre & cornering is too good.. The cushioning of the tyre is too good, it makes the ride real comfy...

Bro, The word on the street is that MRF Vyde is not that good.. I found that the tread pattern of the Vyde is not that great.. Try to get MRF Revz, its good..

Even I heard that about Vyde, but there is no other good option available so bought it. Had the Pirellis been stock, would have definitely gone for it.

Also this is the first time I heard about revz with size 120/80. Nowhere online that size can be found. Are you sure it is genuine?? Which store did you buy it from because you cant trust the stores at JC road!

Revz is not mentioned anywhere online not even the size for FZ..Searched many shops & finally found this tyre n size..I compared the 120/80 Revz to the 140 Revz (the FZ tyre) everything was same, except the width..So, it can't be fake..

Don't measure run-in in terms of number of services done. Wait till you reach 1000km. Till then, try to stay below 4-4.5K RPM. Vary your RPMs. Even if you take it to higher RPMs, do it once in a while in terms of short bursts without sudden accelerations. Even then, avoid going beyond 6-6.5K RPM.
Coming to the term ripping, it is generally used when you open the throttle to get those sudden accelerations and reach high RPMs. That's exactly what you need to avoid before your run-in, at least till 1000KM. If you stay below 4.5K RPM, in the final gear, you should be below 60 km/h. Don't listen to the 'common man''s words that the first service is the end of your break in period...

Motocross is it? I wouldnt be so sure about the tyre (since it is not a tyre store & they sell mainly bling-bling items ).. You could have just checked once from MRF authorities if they ever manufactured such a tyre.. & I noticed that both have same tread pattern only width is different.. & there are some fake Sport Demons in JC road too, which is very hard to differentiate from genuine one... anyways lets hope that the one you got is genuine.. try to confirm from MRF once just for everyone's benefit here..

Actually I'v bought many things from J.C Road, the general ideology of the shopkeepers there is that ,If the product is fake they reduce prices like crazy & don't give any bill nor warranty.. First I went to Sai Iyengar & sons, Indranagar, they directed me to a different branch on Lalbhag Road & with bad luck, they also dint have a 120/80 tyre,so , I searched on J.C, found this tyre & took it back to Sai Iyengar to get the tyre fitted using the machine..The Sai Iyengar guy told me this was a original MRF Revz & it is made for the P200NS..

Then it seems to be a genuine one since the guys at Sai Iyengar can be trusted, but still I am surprised Hope MRF advertizes these kind of tyres more, because I doubt if anyone knew this tyre existed. Anyways it will have good traction over all surfaces since it is somewhat softer. Happy riding! I too know the joy of changing TVS Srichakras!

The MRF Revz got the ISI mark on it,so, I guess it cannot be fake..
It seems that MRF is not producing tyre or the demand is not present that major tyre shops don't have/keep stocks of MRF tyres.. & the funny part is that the shopkeepers put down MRF tyre & try to promote the Ceat vertigo tyres, which is meant for off-road..
