Depends on make to make I believe, cause the ones on my friends 1st Gen Fazer are super hard compound, where as the ones on the Duke are really good and grippy.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostMRF Revz is hard compound tyre as far as I remember, and in that case riding in wet would be same as with TVS tyresMotorcycling Experience:

They are also named differently.. Duke tyres are Revz-C and R15 tyres Revz-S which are both amazing tyres. So the FZ/Fazer tyres could still be the same hard compound like you said.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostDepends on make to make I believe, cause the ones on my friends 1st Gen Fazer are super hard compound, where as the ones on the Duke are really good and grippy.

Thanks for the info bro, I failed to notice that. I assumed Rev's was a common brand and available in different sizes.Originally posted by Adarsh_Bk View PostThey are also named differently.. Went to tristar today to give my bike for service, supervisor Lokesh said that eh would aske the guys to adjust the clutch play, coz its not tight.
Later when i showed him that above 4K rpm when i accelarte the bike the clutch lever gets pulled and when you release the throttle the clutch lever is released(this is not noticable by visual, but felt when you have a finger palced on your clutch lever.). He said the ball bearings near the gear shaft has gone kaput. Mentioned that the ball bearings cost 135 but labor would go as high as 2000. Getting furstrated, when asked if i can claim under warranty he says thats not possible and that doesn't come under warranty.
And apart from that i don't know if theres any RTR in my bike and mileage is 32-35km, god vibrations are crazy, front disk has mechniacl ABS (like adarsh said once).
The background is that i have visited them several times since FEB, every time they used to jot down the list as minor problems, the problems were never solved. And this time i took a desicisiopn that i will give the bike for service and pay for labor so that they do their job well.
Really frustrated about not knowing whom to be frustrated on.

.. Did you get the bike back yet? If they dont fix anything, then report to higher ups.. there was a list of email ids a few pages back.. send a mail to all of them.. or when you get a call regarding how you rate the service, rate it Zero! That should ring some bells..

You want me to write an email now or after the delivery of bike .
I do get those service calls, yesterday evening I got a call from a lady to let me know that my bike is due for service where as i had left the bike for service at 9:30am.
When I asked if they are aware on what they do, she just hung up on me and she made my day b4 going to office.

The above quoted reply is my case. First see the resultant of this service if you are not satisfied then talk to the manager & then shoot a mail to your regional head. Before all this you can call again to the service centre & remind them your issues.Originally posted by Traveller01 View Postas usual going to service centre was not an option because they always have similiar replies for these so called small problems & never care to listen just like one of those adds on TV where the Computer service man replies "restart karo!" without even caring that the PC is not starting up.

Wait till today evening and see. Since they are taking more than a day, they might try to resolve all the issues this time. You can try to call them up and bug them in the meantimeOriginally posted by huntphani View PostNo, I gave it today in the morning..
I personally feel the stock headlamp unit is very good looking, not sure if round ones go well with the bike. Moreover RTR headlamp reflectors are one of the best in business, so you can just get the reflector if you want to chuck the projector.Originally posted by albyjose View PostAny round headlights direct fit for rtr 180?

xBhp member @nisnth had sold his 35k run RTR180 for 50000INR, not sure when he bought it though. Keep it in the best condition or better yet get your bike detailed. You might have to spend 800 odd bucks but you can bump up the amount easily by 3-4k.Originally posted by saipranav View PostHey guys, i'm planning to sell my RTR 180 grey color, purchased on july 3rd 2010, with 35k kms on Odo... how much do you think can i expect? (Just want an approx figure)
