My RTR 160 is running on 90/90 17" michelin pilot sporty for front and 120/80 17" zapper vyde for rear, so far o have done around 2k kms on this setup.
It grips very well now, cornering is fun now and not much difference in performance. I managed a top speed of 126 kmph( speedo indicated).

Frankly speaking I haven't tested the mileage, but still I can say its around 42 - 43 kmpl

            Shell Super petrol

Please fill your bike with shell super petrol .I usually fill my bike with shell normal petrol yesterday after hitting reserve I filled shell super petrol .It was amazing you can feel the vibrations reduced almost immediately .The engine revs better .The bike feels really smooth after it I wonder how my bike will feel when I will go for Motul after 20k and shell super vs stock new bike with tvs oil+normal petrol.

Yes u can still accelerate hard bro but you need to be smoother with the throttle inputs. We cannot just chop the throttle, try to be gradual yet fast.

So far I have touched 132kmph.. that was my fastest. The bike hovers around 110-115 with ease though. And yes the acceleration is still crisp

But, I feel, to get the best out of the bike, better stick to the stock tyre specs of the bike. U can upgrade to stickier rubber but try to stick to the stock specs so that it won't ruin the feel of the bike.

I had thought of Zapper FYI (r15)90/80 front and zapper VYDE 120/80 rear
            or Some nice pirelli MT75
            90/80 - 17 M/C 46S TL for front
            110/80 - 17 M/C 57S TL for rear

            You have any other suggestions?
I read in the manual that changing the tyre size will affect ABS I just wish to know will the 90/80 pirelli affect my ABS?
I am really torn between 90/80 pirelli for front as paired tyres have same thread pattern will give better water disassipation vs 90/90 other brand as the size will remain full stock?

Wow, The light from Osram Nightracer plus is definitely better than stock as when i rode today, the light from lower dipper was more than sufficient & the color is very good to look at. Must recommend for anyone suffering from the low light in new Apache 160 headlight

Most welcome buddy Glad that you liked the throw. You will see the improvement in high beam the moment you ride on pitch dark highways. Also press the pass switch when you are in low beam and see the magic (Not recommended to do always).

I am planning to change my tires... Suggestion for both with profile...

Use - Cornering & Straigh Road , not much of off roading.
