    Thanks bro!

I will suggest you to install Petrol Cock lock rather then changing whole ignition set up which is surely more then thousand bucks

Anyways, I wanted to ask if anyone knows about the availability and pricing of ignition lock set and if the key for tank cap can also be changed with it. I don't want to carry around two different keys.

I lost my key yesterday and though I have spare key with me am concerned that someone might take my beast for a joy ride. Key was lost in close proximity to my hostel room and one of the perks of being a faculty member staying in a hostel full of students is that your lost stuff never get returned. I will wait for 2 days for the keys to be returned and if not I am considering changing the ignition assembly.

          Hi,
My rtr 160 suddenly raised to 10k rpm and I could managed to bring to halt in time as no vehicles around. After that bike didn't start , towed to mechanic shop and found ball bearing inside head!!! Wonder how did it happened. My last service was 20 days back. Is it intentionally done by someone ? I don't have a clue. Head and piston has ball markings all over .. Guys help 😳

And would 120 be a direct fit for RTR 180? Another tyre which I saw recently was MRF Zapper Vyde, but I'm not sure if its a soft compound and if it would be a direct fit for RTR 180.

i have recently service my APACHE RTR, in an svc, i have complained them about the steering play and i felt like the bike handle bar is more towards the right while riding the bike.
They have serviced and they said, there is a bend in the HEAD LAMP BRACKET, and they charged me 250 for taking the bend, but i can stilll feel the steering is towards right while riding, and it is more while riding with the pilllon, sitting one sided.

The only problem i have is that i feel a sharp vibration in the Head Light Doom when i reach a speed of 70kmph and the vibration stops after 75kmph..

Is there a solution for this? And is there anyone who face the same problem?

I am enjoying my ride to the core..

                            Proud to be an apachian..

                              Hello fellow riders,

I'm trying to find a phone charger solution for my RTR 180, so that I can use GPS in my travels. While searching, I've found several riders using an SAE connector, and then using a normal USB connector from the SAE connector to the phone.

Amazon.com: SAE to USB Adapter - Motorcycle Cell Phone Charger: Cell Phones & Accessories shows such a connector. Another different model can be seen at Motorcycle Chrome Cobra Handlebar USB Cell Phone GPS Port Charger Power Adapter | eBay

This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6V8pQoO9mV0 shows how this is fitted on a Ninja 300.

Has anyone used such a solution (or anything else) before? If so, do you have a DIY for this?

                              Any suggestions welcome.

Hi RTR'ians...Yesterday I got my OSRAM Nightracer plus. A new lot of 500 pieces have arrived in the shop. In that i have taken 2.
Have been waiting so long and repeatedly getting in touch with them.

                                Shop Address:
                                VK Marketing Corporation

                                (Rajgopal Garden) Kalasipalayam.
                                Its nearby JC road.

                                Contact No: 9845162688

venkatesh is a nice person. The price of the bulb is 595/- and you might get some discount also. For more on discount please contact him.

Yesterday itself i changed the bulb late night & then to my surprise I could find that the stock bulbs are also OSRAM(though the model no. is bit different) even though the look or design of the bulb is exactly the same.
I didnt know TVS provides OSRAM bulbs as stock. Thats really great that they are providing such high quality bulbs.
Also since the stock OSRAM is still running fien after 3 years of extensive use I think this too will run for 2~3 years.
Anyway I couldnt test the new bulb completely as the roads where I rode were completely illuminated by street lights.
Also i didnt change the focus unlike @Adarsh_Bk & @aditya_iyer did.
I will check today if everything is fine and if any change in focus is required.
BTW thanks Adarsh for giving the details of the bulb and the distributor.
                                Please find the Map link:

Make sure you correctly reach 'B' first.
Just beside that cut road there is one ING Vysya ATM.
If any doubts call him from that point & he will guide you.
