You can try (anyone can, post 7000kms) Shell Advance AX7 10w40 semi-synthetic engine oil (340 INR). Will give you a more smoother and enjoyable riding experience. Replace it at 2500km or 3-4 months along with oil filter.

I have a pair of Cramster Blaster-street gloves. Meant for street use and i found it to be very good. I guess their jackets and pants would be just the same. Just pick the right models suited for your use.

Kindly stay away from aftermarket cotton Air Filters from K&N etc., if you want your RTR's engine to last long and perform at it's peak without messing the Carb. Trust me and others on this who've tried it and reverted back to stock, pretty soon.
The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

Get it serviced at your regular SVC, no need to hunt for the best ones unless you have some issue which they are not able to resolve, usually all SVCs will complete service within a day.

Err isnt that Mineral oil ? Try Semi synthetic oils and you will come to know the difference. You can use TVS Semi synthetic oils also, they are also good.

After around 7000kms, replacing the oil filter at alternate intervals would be enough... provided, oil is replaced at 2500kms/3-4 months (speaking about minerals & semi-synthetics here).

Thanks Buddy.. This time my boy will get semi-synthetic oil then! Also, I have chosen below three stuff for my riding requirement.. I will go ahead and buy them on March 10th!

Riding Jackets, BREEZER 4.0 - 3 in 1 Mesh Riding Jacket - True All Weather

Riding Pants, VELOCITY 2.0 All Weather Riding Pants

Riding Gloves, TRG2 - Racing Gloves - Full Gauntlet

And regarding the filter.. I love the sound bike make with K&N filter but if it hurts the bike.. I might have to re-think again because bike's health should be given the highest priority.. Is there any other way we could get the sweet voice bike makes with K&N without hurting the engine please?

No, don't know a way to use K&N or any other aftermarket cotton Air Filter without compromising engine reliability. Our bike sounds sweet and sporty even without any mod right?

Stay bone stock, enjoy peace of mind.

All the best wishes for your trip. Take care Bro

                        • K&N doesnt make sweet sound its indeed Rough & Ragie

Em using Riding Gloves TRGII - A Very Good Buy & I wuld ask you to rethink about Breezer

Why don't you check Spartans & Rjays Jacket ? according to me they are the best you can get under 10,000 range.

                            • Guys i have an apache 160. I have a problem with the bike handle bar. The bike handle bar looks even when i sit on the bike and hold on to it. But when i am riding the bike, i find the handle bar is slightly inclined towards left. Do i hav to adjust the handler bar(left and right) and is there a bent on the front fork. And for your information i have never fallen from the bike from the moment i have purchased. I have take the bike 2 times to SVC, they say they have fixed it but the problem is still there.
