In that case pretty cool. That's the reason I asked for pictures. Once you're sure it is the head gasket problem, get a new one. Fevibond and all are temporary solutions. Nothing like a new one fixed.

TVS Apache RTR 180 - Rear tyre

Heyy Buddies,
I own a RTR 180(Non abs model). I had to change my Bikes rear tyre as there were hell lot of punctures, tyres were pretty worn out and also slight wobbling issues.

Any how i wanna know which would be the best tyre i should be putting on. Stock tyres i prefer to keep it as the last option.!!
Would be appreciative of your help provided...

Don't go in for stock at any cost. Good decision. I need to change my tyres too.

Which engine oil is the best for apache RTR 180? 6500 on odo.

Hey everyone.

Someone had suggested me to go in for a 60w electric turbo charger for my apache RTR 180. Your sincere advices and comments required.

Dude, it was a loose contact. Checked it with a local mech when the lights went out on my trip back home on Saturday.

BTW, asked svc guys about upgrading the lights. The ones I talked to seemed frightened (

) at the idea. They were saying the wires might heat up and melt and such weired things. I might get it changed by some other mech or myself, I guess.

Err isnt that Mineral oil ? Try Semi synthetic oils and you will come to know the difference. You can use TVS Semi synthetic oils also, they are also good.

What about fully synthetic oils.? Please suggest me something really nice.

Motul 5100 semi synthetic/ 7100fully synthetic / 300v

All are great oil 5100being the cheapest and 300v being costliest.

And mate..please use a single post instead of back to back posts.

There is a chance of wires burning off when using a bulb of higher resistance, but many(including myself) have upped from 35/35 to 55/60 as a matter of fact, its a mandatory update, cause the stock bulb is useless at night and if by chance you wear spec's then its pure blindness. Some users have also added a seperate relay for HL after upping to 55/60, they claim it gives better output than running without relay, but I never bothered, guess its laziness

Anyways you wont face much issues since the RTR ABS is already DC.

If you have 1k and want FS Double Ester then go for the 300v
If you have 750rs and want FS Single Ester then go for the 7100
If you have 600rs and want FS then go for Elf.
If you have 550rs and want SS then go for 5100.

So, is it ok to use the 55/60 on the stock setup it self? Mine is a 2010 non-ABS 180.
