What I meant was does the apache have a fuel screw or an air screw.
    Fuel screw: clockwise = lean
    Anti clockwise = rich
Air screw : clockwise. = rich
    Anti clockwise = lean

About adjusting.? Never satisfied by the adjustment by any mechanic on hyd so far. I like my tuning better.

Apache has fuel screw, like you said, clockwise-lean, anticlockwise-rich.
AFAIK only 2 stroke carbs have air screw.

Not necessarily.. a 2 stroke definitely has an air screw but a 4 stroke can have either. Can make out by looking at the screw after removing. I'm just lazy to remove it and adjust it again
        Thanks a lot anyway.

Most welcome And generally, if the screw is located between carb and engine, it is fuel screw and if it is located between carb and airfilter, it is air screw. Hope you get the tune right. I myself have fiddled with it a lot and still it is not perfect!

I suggest you check with 2-3 service centers & then come to a decision...Check in tristar SVC domlur. Meet a person named Lokesh. Ask him to ride & dont reveal anything about what other SVC members said..Lets see if they all have a common reply...
Now another thing, pls check if your gear lever is hitting on the side stand...I might sound stupid..But this has happened to me..the gear lever was hitting on side stand because of which I was not able to down shift easily...it was like i need to put too much to get it changed while up-shift was kind of normal...Check if the same is happening in your case...

I really like the tune I got. Only problem is when the engine is hot, the idle rpm goes up to 1.5k and when cold it is 1.1k.. but other than that, the feel of riding and the pickup is really good.

I tried 15T at front (stock is 14T). P180s 15T sprocket is direct fit, you should also get the holder plate and the nuts since the stock ones wont fit here.

This setup is good for cruising as it develops good speeds at earlier rpm (100kmph at 7k rpm as opposed to 7.5k+ rpm earlier). FE might increase a little but i didnt have any noticeable change. But you will lose a little acceleration at low end. I have now reverted back to 14T since I felt I was missing the fun factor

That's the magic of the FS. But having said that the 5100 should hold up just fine.

Thanks. I'll try to get a 20w40 Motul 5100. If it's not available, I'll go back to the AX7 as 15w50 seems to take away the grunt of the RTR.

Great set of pics as usual bro. You skipped riding this time too?
Couldn't reply to your post about it last time as I was on phone. Did you get the pistons replaced?
May be the way you abuse the engine is way too much for TRU4 to handle? I think you should switch to FS or at least better SS like AX7

BIC has made leather suit mandatory now, and no shop gives it on rent. If I get hold of suit will ride a CBR250 (of a friend) next time, this time I focused more on photography.
Using the bike to the minimum, have few assignments lined up, will give for thorough check up after that. And yes its true, that TRU4 could not handle the way I ride
Just waiting for Spiti ride of this year, will use SS during that, and then good bye to my White Angel
