    • Today rode the RTR like a RTR first time after the upgrade. After leaving home went to SVC directly, in five minutes Oil filter and Oil change is been done. The oddo was at that 890 at second oil change and I rode it normally and touched 109 only as road was not allowing more, cross winds were also very high. Lets see how it goes from now

      • Guys i have been planning to go for HID lights instead of my stock halogen Bulb. Have been getting mixed reviews about it. A shop near my house is giving me a HID kit for Rs 1,200 (without warranty). Should i go for the better HID kit like Philips or Osram or the cheap HID ? Since mine is the ABS version i need not convert from AC to DC...

        Any cons of putting HID?

        Awaiting your suggestion

Before you go for HID , I would like to inform you any HID above 4300K is considered illegal.
As yours is DC, you wont face battery issues, but will void the electrical warranty of your bike.

Go to SVC until you know a good outside mechanic, don't let local roadside mechanic ruin the bike.

Is this paid/free ? You need to keep visiting SVC for all services on time atleast until your warranty period is over. If you fail to do your warranty claims in future may not be entertained.

It depends, you need to check it yourself, but trust brand in this case.

How much is on the odo that you are going for carb cleaning?
Use the services that TVS provides then you can try local mechanics

Lets dont get banned ;-) going quite off topic now. Will discuss these things somewhere else. BTW just came back after a blasting 70 odd kms ride and believe me that was fun. The ruining factor was the big trucks making silly over takes all around but I thought of getting some empty roads. But still I managed to have some fun !!

                            Haha, yeah right

Great!! Though usually truckers are the most decent drivers on highways.

                            • Hey dude..I hope you are not nuts to post this stuff here..Mistakes do happen & if you did it unknowingly please delete it from this Thread as whatever video you are posting is completely Off the topic. I found that you have posted only twice & one is here & the other on in FZ-16 thread, both the bikes which are not even listed in the heading of the video. Also there is not even a comparison with any of the bikes mentioned in the header in this video. All I see a fellow riding bike mayb in 90's or just 100...thats it..nothing else...I dont see anything to claim horribly fast here...So it will be great if you could remove this OT post from both the threads...By the way you can post driving prowess in this link http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...-220-dtsi.html

I hope you will understand & do the changes..Take it light dude..
