In the ODO mode press the lower button (most probably mode) for 4-5 seconds, the hours in the clock will start blinking. Just start pushing upper button and with each push you will be one hour further. If you will keep pressing the lower button even after the hours start blinking then minutes will start blinking and you can set those also the same way as hours. AM-PM changes after you cross 12 in hour figures. I hope its clear now.

This is caused due to faulty placement of rear disc cable. All you have to do is to detach the cable from the default clamp (on de swing arm) and then tie it with an external strip ( the ones used in malls to tie the carry bag.) that should resolve the issue. If required, i'll post the pic of this alteration on my bike.
Anyways according to your guidance i changes the cable clamp and have tied them with a external strip.. Now the noise has gone .. Thanks for the help bro.. I guess the default clamp is a bit too tight on the cable..
BTW do you have the ABS version ?A new Day, a new Journey, a new Story!

Just follow the basic run in procedure of not exceeding 5k rpm mark till 1000kms. Get the oil, oil filter changed at 1000kms. Even after that vary your speed at different rpms. Don't switch oil till 5000kms, change the oil at every 2000kms (if TVS tru4), get the servicing done as mentioned in the manual (do read it when you get it after 6 days). Use the kick start in the morning instead of the self. Don't go for any mods until the warranty is over and you are sure of the use of the mods.Originally posted by shahbaz63 View PostHey very much thank you, I think it will work i will try it in evening ...

It happens in summers, it heats up quite fast if we are riding in afternoon, so I usually ride in 4k-5k rpm rangeOriginally posted by Krish1417 View PostThanks Prateek Bike heats/rpm rises even after a short ride while is irritating in afternoons, in evenings/night it feels smooth. Is this normal?

How does it feel when you open and then roll off the throttle, is the action smooth/quick or hard/slow? Try it without starting the engine.Originally posted by vivekgautams View PostThe throttle is getting stuck & the rpm is automatically increasing after giving a small twist of the throttle, the rpm does not decrease quickly & it gets stuck. Is it a problem with the throttle cable or something is wrong with the carb.

The throttle has become hard & slow, the throttle has no free-ply.The throttle does not roll back freely,it gets stuck at a rpm & sometimes tends to increase instead of decreasing. This problem happened overnight.Originally posted by Rtrlover83 View PostHow does it feel when you open and then roll off the throttle, is the action smooth/quick or hard/slow?

Replace the throttle cable asap.Originally posted by vivekgautams View PostThe throttle has become hard & slow, the throttle has no free-ply.The throttle does not roll back freely,it gets stuck at a rpm & sometimes tends to increase instead of decreasing. This problem happened overnight.
In this condition it will soon break, then you won't be able ride the bike. Go to the SVC and ask them to check it first. Won't cost you much, will be inside 200INR. After replacing use the throttle with care. The bike will respond much quickly. The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.
