Odo reading was 12.2k km when I filled FS oil..Oil was leaking from the cylinder head..Got the leak fixed by TVS svc, they applied sealant to the cylinder & cylinder head..Odo reading was 12.8k km..Originally posted by Viscmad View PostOil leak ? Elaborate...
What is your odo reading ?
Imo even if the clutch plates have worn out due to FS oil, it wont just burn away in a day without showing any signs of wear and tear.
Now odo is 14.2k km, the clutch was in excellent condition, no gear slips,no false neutral..3 days back the clutch lever just became tight all of a sudden then again back to normal in 5min..I'm still riding the bike on the same clutch plate & there is no sign of clutch problems..

Have you checked the life of the brake pads? Although they would last more but then again it depends on rider's riding style. ANother thing that you can try is pressure wash the brake pads, and then use it.Originally posted by shahbaz63 View PostMy Rear & Front Brakes used to be tight when i bought the bike but after 3k on ODO Rear Brake seems to be loosen though its still as effective as it was but just I have to press Rear Brake Lever much deeper then before & now Same started to happened with Front Lever too after 4.5K OdO...Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Well i think its time to change Rear Pad, correct me if i am wrong that Rear Pad life is 3k-3.5k & front can last double of that ?Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostHave you checked the life of the brake pads? And Pressure wash tried, there is nothing really need to worry about Braking distance but only the pressure need to apply is concern.

, the clutch cable is the culprit. And your svc is fooling you
, just tell them to change the clutch cable and all will be fine.

@Prateek added FAQ
How often do I need to lubricate the chain & with what material/ lube?
Every 650-750 km. (During Rain every 350-500km) different types of Lube available in market known as spray wax chain lubricant. Or you can pour some gear oil on it to clean it. for best result use WD-40 Cheap & effective spray available at almost every Electrical, hardware or Auto Shops, costs around 40 rs.
Cleaning chain sprocket & lubing is two different thing often mixed by user's, by adding gear oil or Diesel will only result a Clean Chain but not Lubricated Chain, for Lube You can use YamaLube cost 280 or you can go for any other brand includes Motul, Shell & moto max etc etc.
TVS Tru4 Spray cost 300 bucks which cleans Chain very easily without much fuss & its most cheapest too.

New RTRs have some problem and it resets even without turning off the Service Indicator.Originally posted by pcgamer View PostFrom what I've experienced, the clock doesn't need to be reset after turning off the service indicator. I'm not sure about the new RTRs, but that's how it is, in the older ones. Please correct me if i'm wrong.|| My Doc says bhp is directly proportional to testosterone.
