Please read this buddyOriginally posted by shahbaz63 View PostIs it possible to change the Red Tail light with Blue LED's?
Our Tail Light Has red color's led & when we press Brake It becomes Darker? or other bulb lit up?
if there is two zone led's in tail light then i think i would like to change that Always ON Red LED to Blue one ... & when i press brake red should glow up

Rear position lamps (tail lamps)
Night time vehicle conspicuity to the rear is provided by "rear position lamps" (also called "taillamps" or "tail lamps", "taillights" or "tail lights"). These are required to produce only red light, and to be wired such that they are lit whenever the front position lamps are illuminated—including when the headlamps are on. Rear position lamps may be combined with the vehicle's stop lamps, or separate from them. In combined-function installations, the lamps produce brighter red light for the stop lamp function, and dimmer red light for the rear position lamp function. The tail and stop light functions may be produced separately or by a dual-intensity lamp.
Regulations worldwide stipulate minimum intensity ratios between the bright (stop) and dim (tail) modes, so that a vehicle displaying rear position lamps will not be mistakenly interpreted as showing stop lamps, and vice versa.
Many modern designs use LED lighting sources beginning in 1999 with the 2000 Cadillac Deville
Stop lamps (brake lights)
Red steady-burning rear lights, brighter than the rear position lamps, are activated when the driver applies the vehicle's brakes. These are called "stop lamps", or, colloquially, "brake lights". They are required to be fitted in multiples of two, symmetrically at the left and right edges of the rear of every vehicle. Outside North America, the range of acceptable intensity for a stop lamp is 60 to 185 candela. In North America, the acceptable range for a single-compartment stop lamp is 80 to 300 candela
As I already mentioned do anything in lighting and TVS are happy to void your warranty. You can only change the brand of the bulb but with same wattageOriginally posted by vivekgautams View PostThe best & only option is a HID(4300k)...
Its very bright,Legal,efficient,won't void warranty..
What else do you need...??
+1 Its better to go with brand , gives you mental satisfactionOriginally posted by vivekgautams View PostYou get phillips HID..But you need to search for 35W..Costs around 2-2.5k..
Philips Lighting India - Xenon HID Standard - Philips
You will find a few Chinese/Japanese company HID with warranty..They are also quite good, costs 1.5-2k...
Do a complete market survey before you buy & get it fixed by a proper mechanic..Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Harsh Engine
Hello all, I need some help here.
My 180 abs is now just over a month old and came back from 1st service last week. Since the time she came back, I can feel the engine has become harsher than what it was before (700 kms on odo). Will an engine oil change to other brand help?
I asked my SVC manager and he told me that though he would be happy to use any oil that I will provide but will not entertain any warranty claim on engine if anything goes wrong in the future so, if you guys think an engine oil change will make the difference, I will have to do it from outside.
Can you please suggest which oil I should use considering the fact that bike is only 700 kms old? Also, if I ask the SVC guys to put the TVS oil during servicing and change it later to oil recommended by you will SVC guys ever come to know about it (I mean during the next servicing).
Thanks in advance for your help.

Thats why i had mentioned "trying" to conquer, my friend was trying it for the first time,he has never done it before, tried explaining & demonstrating, but he continued to feel the jitters, so didnt force the issue further

@DK.Dubey
No worries
Stick to the oil the SVC is providing. You can safely and reliably use that oil, just make SURE it get replaced every 2000-2500 Kms or 3 months. Check the oil level at regular intervals say, every 3 weeks or so.
The harshness may be related to something else. Ride some more may be it will go away, else consult the SVC and tell the matter. The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

Hey sorry bro...i am now in my hometown...havent got my ride with me.Originally posted by shahbaz63 View PostI am waiting for Vishnu's word & images ... where the hell he is ? "(
thats why i couldnt post the light-brightness pic.
Overall lightin power or effect hasnt changed from stock.. but its much soft on eyes now(the riders) :P and also looks have improved too i guess...
On the bright side it wont void the warranty per se..coz the bulb itself is from OSRAM(default) and same wattage too. And as an insurance policy i have kept my old bulb nearby itself so that i can replace it when i give it to the SVC for any electrical issue.
looks wise you can always check my facebook profile pic(me with my ride)..

Thanks brother. I am not yet ripping her and change gear at 5-6k RPM. On the few more thousand km, I live across the street from my office so i think I should start going to lonavla or Mahabaleshwar every weekend or it might take years to reach few thousand km.Originally posted by shahbaz63 View PostRelax, Correct gear shifting is important for first 3000km & Sane Riding too... Thanks brother. I read on this forum that people were recommending mineral oil for first 5-6k kms so thought may be switching to mineral might help.Originally posted by Rtrlover83 View Post@DK.Dubey
