When i had the cbz classic the front forks costed 1200/- each, that was 3 years ago so u can get a rough idea about the cost at present.

I positively assume you are safe & it was not your mistake, take it to the SVC tomorrow( here in mumbai the SVC is closed on mondays) & be right under their nose until they get your work done. tc and have a speedy recovery psychologically.

hope they help me.. anyways im gonna go there early morning itself..hopefully before they start taking other bikes for service.
guess my scratches might heal in a day or two...but seriously i think i wont be riding fast for a few days at the least

Btw, I'm going to LOGTECH TVS tomorrow morning. Cheers, Ride Safe. Don't worry dude, accidents are bound to occur some day or the other

i sure hope they do repair it or so...else i would gladly go for a new pair..sure hope the damage stays within 2k
i bought her from Anton TVS(first service was done there too), should i show it there or to LOGTECH??? :O

    • @ Vishnu-- your white lion will be up and running, relax & B+. all this is a part & parcel of life& a learning curve, i know its easy to say this but i too, had experienced a life threatning accident on my cbz that drew me to xbhp& the importance of safety gears.
nevertheless majority of such mishaps happen because of the other person"s fault, even if we are cautious enough.its time to assume that we all are invisible to other vehicles/motorists/drivers/riders.
Ride fast but ride safe!! good luck !

I have already told you na Even i had bought my RTR180 13months ago from Anton. The service @Logtech is BETTER. I mean it. And for you , its nearer too. So absolutely no worries. And I would say, you come to logtech.

PS: I would say, get new forks. Its a safety issue and there should never be any compromise on the safety/rideability of the ride. I'm not being negative, still I feel if the bent is more than 1mm, it will be difficult to straighten it to PERFECTION. And regarding T-bar, its hell important. You will know if it's okay or not when u ride the bike. No worries, Just calm down mate

Nice avatar there with THE 250. Glad that you still keep the RTR 180 and enjoy it as well. Yes, it's hard to leave this little screamer, ever! even if one upgrade to a higher capacity motorcycle.

And happy you still visit this thread bro

            Ride Safe.
The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

yea it still there :/ i guess they are taking advantage of that express service thingy TVS brags aboout (within 1hr) they seem to be seein only the "booking in advance" part not the "express service" part :P

p.s. i went and did an unofficial service at cochin TVS last week when i went home...they didn need any kind of bookin or anything. and they gave me back within 2 hours .

Go for new forks as suggested by others.
Also you can claim for replacement from TVS for any faulty parts and not damaged ones due to accident.
So the best option is make use of the insurance. Its bit time consuming but still get the help of SVC for the same and say you need it.

AFAIK you can claim it. As I told it is time consuming where a mechanic from the insurance dept. will come and check your vehicle and he will quote the amount or expense required to do it. Get in touch with the SVC for the same. Also claim only if the scratches are too serious and not for some small stuffs as when you claim it I think the insurance value of the vehicle will diminish. I'm not sure about that part though.
