Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Thanks for the clarification. I will take your advice about trying the AX7 first.Originally posted by Mr_Many_Places View Post
That was my guess, but I think the SVC mechanics are hesitant to fiddle with ABS bikes' brakes. I will request them to take a look at it next time. Thanks for your helpRegarding your rear brake heating up I think brake pads are rubbing with the disc all the time. Tell your svc to open them up & refit it properly. Any roadside mechanic can do it even. But your bike being an abs one you should not take chances.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Just found that my bike's rear disk too is getting heated like hell.. Thanks a ton to cep, else I wouldn't have checked and would have gone for long ride ( 640km from Bangalore ) without knowing.. :P I will get it rectified tomorrow..It's the journey that matters, not the destination.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Hello All,
I have owned RTR 180 (new) since last 6 months and have done 10200 on odo till now. Two weeks back i went on a long ride from Bengaluru to Pondicherry & Mahabalipuram (wanted to ride on ECR
) did 1000Kms+ of ride. While coming back from the internal village roads i had a close shave with a calf coming in running suddenly, it hit on my left tank guard in the front although i didnt loose balance and was going around 60 while that happened. but due to the hit my upper clamp of the tank guard broke. I want to know if there is any glue to fix it as its rubber and plastic to glue. I asked SVC to fix it but they didnt had glue to do that, Fevi stick dosent work there. Please suggest something.
Thanks in advanceBLR-RAMESWARAM-KODIAKANAL-BLR http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/3...ing-hills.html

I recently bought one in Neo TVS for Rs.177, and it was printed.. It was for RTR 160 though, but then I think air filter might be same for both..
Why such price difference??It's the journey that matters, not the destination.
