Can we suspend something on the frame near the footpegs so as to let the thing take the vibes away from footpegs? The thing/block/bar could of any material which can consume or take vibration to itself.

(While my bike vibrates badly, the RVMs vibrate quite a lot more than the rest of the handle bar assembly. So, if they can bear the vibes of handlebars, why not something near the footpegs?

it rained last day here in mumbai so i taught of testing my tyres,i was riding in 60km/p and braked (very slowly) it stoped and i suddenly accelerated tooo yet i had a good grip with pillion

and the RESULT IS TVS TYRES ARE NOT THAT BAD COZ THER WER 3 BYKS RTR 220 n R15 (220 had some wobbling issue IN SUDDEN ACCELERATION and R15 had IRC SOFT COMPOUND TYRES WHICH WAS ROCK SOLID ill make the mumbai mansoon as further testing for TVS TYRES

@everyone- i am not asking for the exact measuremant of the temperture and i know there is no way to mesure it also .. i just wanted to know if the apache's engine can take the heat.as blore tempearures are getting hotter and hotter in the afternoons and is it beacuse of the afterrnon heat the tappets start jinling and jangling. so its normal i take it if the tappets start making its tune after 5-6 kms from first use??

As long as you wont brake hard tires seems to be ok on wet also, but do this : brake hard (rear) at 15kmph you will skid

, initially i also thought just like you , but its not that good when you brake hard.Dont say all tires give up when you brake hard , i mean not that hard

Yep in noon tappet nose issues come early <2 km riding also sometimes. I usually travel @ 8 in mornings and 8 in nights so i get tappet noises only if i rip hard if i maintain <65 i wont get.

Its there for other bikes also but its rare , but rtr are prone to get this

Yesterday changed the ball-racer,today while riding when goin over bumps the handle bars felt like they are going to break apart! any help on this?

Now I know why everyone skids here and complains about the TVS tyres!! NEVER USE ONLY THE REAR BRAKE !! Brakes are always to be used in combination. More importance needs to be given for the Front Brake than the rear! I have a relatively new RTR180 and have tried hard braking (Both brakes together) in wet surfaces and have not skidded!

I want to know one thing, dont all tyres skid on wet surfaces when only the rear brakes are used ???

see..its true that all tyres skid....but the TVS tire compound is really hard...and hence there is practically very less grip (friction) between the tarmac and your tire...this is worsened by water...MRF or other brands have some tires made of soft compound which sticks well to the tarmac...but they wear more.....hard compound is the reason why TVS tire chalta jaye chalta jaye!!

braking slowly and using front more (front 70% and rear 30%) is always the best option for slowing down...

thankfully...this season till now i have not fishtailed anytime!!

...last season kissed tarmac once..and fishtailed badly 3 times..

you dont get it , just try a bike with mrf or any other good rubber you will feel the difference , it gives you confidence.If you are not confident you cant even lean on a dry road.That s y i especially mentioned dont tell all tires skid when hard braked

Yes, you're right that one should use front brake to stop the bike and simultaneously applying the rear one to stabilize the bike.

But, thankfully you ain't that unlucky that your front skidded off

I had been unlucky once. I just picked-up from halt and a stupid daughter of some rich man suddenly thought of picking-up her car parked at the side of the road a milliseconds before I was about to cross the car

I panic-braked and my was so fortunate that the road was wet exactly where my front tyre was at that moment

Rest, I think, is not needed to be described. That was the first pair of scratches on my babe
