The thing is I LOVE MY RTR more than my R15 coz both are all most same 17hp
coz in RTR ull get that roughness and u can feel the rush truelly
show of intention to inflict harm : threat
one that represents a threat : danger truly lives up to the name

when we ask abot RTR people say vibes
mine is 6mnths ols still no sign of vibes (may be thers less vibes in new edition)
I love itz 9000k in oddo i ve ridden in red lines (almost) every day reach 135km/h
short of road that day thanks to some big bikes wch just seen in my RVM
and with pillon 132km/h

Guys, I am planning to book a Apache 180 ABS. Is there any new model of Apache coming in the next few months? If yes, I could go for that since I can wait for a couple of months.

No, there is no news from the TVS that it will be coming up with a new version of the Apache, at least not till the next year. Probably there will be new gearless variants.

You can go ahead with your Apache RTR 180 ABS.

For Apache RTR 180, stick to the W40 grade. Mineral Oils generally come in 20W40 grade. Motul 3000 4T Plus 20w40, Shell Advance AX5 20w40 would be very nice choices.

After clocking 7000 kms on minerals (which is a good thing), I now use Shell Advance AX7 10w40 semi-synth.

Going to try Motul 5100 ester 10w40 (which i think is the best semi-synth) from next periodic service onwards

Saw this link today TVS Apache Racing DNA Edition Review have any one checked with tvs dealers ? or this is this something that was there from before only.

Thanks man for the link. Yes the article is posted today itself by Bike Advice! This is something i never expected... The goodies are amazing, and best thing is we the existing owners, could install it too ...

That s what i want to check out , it says these are all available in all rtr s after air scoops models came out , and the bike in pic is not ABS(i mean to say not DC bike) so i guess tvs guys will only do ac dc conversion, instead of after market accessories , could go for these , and the costs seems to be same . Need to check with some bangalore dealers.

these accesories are NOT from TVS...

these are mods that can be done locally.

the projector is a simple retrofit projector.

and that silencer is available locally for 2000 rupees. (it is NOT a tuned FFE)

look at the quality of the weld on the exhaust pipe.

and that's a seriously oversize tyre for that rim.
not something that TVS would opt for.

Looking for chain sprays!

Guys...can anyone let me know where to get the chain sprays (motul or any other suggestions?) and chain lubes in Bangalore?

heard motul chain lube is too sticky and TVS ones are best suited for RTR...but when i checked at my SVC (HSR)...they did not have it...

chain has got really dirty and started becoming little noisy in this monsoon!..
