Facing issue with my TB 350,

cold start or start after 30-45 min break, while running few hunred meter it start loosing power, engine is running no pickup. if we raise the engine it will get off. keep hold on idling engine is running and after some time it pickup and moves.

reported to service people. they keep saying no issue on vehicle.

very annoying. 1.5 L vehicle stops like an second hand tvs50.

    anyone had experienced this issue.

      Completed 2nd servicing @1720kms.
      No issues with bike.
The only complaint I had was - mirror is loose :-)

I use bike for daily commute to office - 35km to 'n' fro.

Checked average the other day - approx. 40kmpl.
I am very happy with the average, especially, considering that drive mostly in city traffic.

Yet to take TBird on long ride :-(

Another 'concern' is that I am yet to find the leg guard / crash guard.
I intend to get coated boot cut guard of Quality Industries.
(It is the specialized guard for new TB to ensure that foot does not touch the guard. Pics can be seen in recent posts by other members like Sharrad.)

      Rest all well!

I am talking about guard in the last pic in this post.

I have been busy on most weekends in last 2months, so could not go for long drive.
Will go for long drive soon. I know it is over due!

Hi Guys, My TB350 is now a month old and done 550 kms. Got the first servicing done 2 days back. After the servicing, I feel the lag in the rear brake. The rear brake is not very effective as it was before the servicing. Any idea what could be the issue.

Yes! The service centres for REs are not good.. My 1st service experience was lousy. The mechanic used my brand new bike the whole day to do the SC work and I saw him riding my bike like a friggin MotoGp rider.... This actually pissed me off to the extent that I told the SC manager that I'll never bring my bike here again. Next time I'll be there the whole time to oversee the servicing of my bike. Maybe that's the only solution to get things done properly here..

Hi guys!! I found people who are above 6 ft ( am 6.3) find the seating position in the new thunderbird difficult. I too faced the problem initially. I was literally sitting on the gap between the front and back seat. But there is a sweet spot. The arc in the front seat. Initially it will be bit awkward to get into this position but once you fit in it's damn good!! I also had pain in my shoulder blades but this position solved it completely.
                  Cheers!!

Hi friends, I am getting an offer for thunderbird 350, 2014 model run only 3k for 1.15 lakhs in my native place in TN. But I stay in Bangalore. Do you guys think, it is a fair quote so that i can buy and then change the registration here which would cost me another 10 k approximately.

                      1.15 is a good deal.

Just check if the bike has any issues. This deal looks too good to be true. Ride around 100kms before you make payment. Or ask any of your friend who owns a tb for long to ride this bike and give inputs.
Be the change you want to see in other Riders!

Completed 2,000kms on my TBird! Took me about 2.5months to get out of running in period!
I still obey running in speed limits though :-)

And, finally, I could find the leg guard. It is of brand Swastik. Bought it at Mulund for Rs. 750 + fitting charges.
It needs a bit tweaking to make sure that it fits properly. Or else the leg guard touches the front mud guard when front breaks are applied.

Now, need to get TBird out of city.
(I use it as primary vehicle for office commute.)

Yeah buddy, faced the same problem, it's the fuel tank making that sound. I got it fixed thru my old mechanic, he removed the tank and placed rubber gasket like inserts on the tank rest (it's in the front where the tank rests on two vertically welded metal plates) it's probably manufacturing defect. But get it fixed ASAP as it may damage paint and start corroding the tank..
                            Godspeed!
