I stay in ISRO layout near KumarSwamy layout.
Now if your Bull is under free service then you can get it serviced at Nandi-Durga road mehboob garage, they r really good, I am more than satisfied by their service and please please for god sake avoid and never get your Bull serviced at that behind shopper's stop service station on the bannerghatta road, they r pathetic only good for washing...

Well if you are looking for local mechanic for this temporary issue then there are two good guys near Banshankari area, one is near monotype and one is as soon as you take left from monotype for the K R Road. The first one is Bullet point something and forgot but I guess the second garage name is also Bullet point. Local mechanics but really good one

First of all thank you all for your replies. to further go ahead with the discussion

But only 200 kms? I suggest you take it for a long ride and get as close to 500 kms as possible before 1st service. The reason is the engine parts have to work and grind properly until everything runs into a smooth rhythm. That is why the oil is changed in the 1st service, to let all the accumulated metal and stuff be taken out.
I am taking it for first service because manual mentions 500km or 45 days whichever is earlier. if 45 days can be ignored, i would gladly wait till 500km is completed. Please advice.

Also, i will be in Bangalore for almost three weeks from Monday, hence it is a must to do this service if 45 days cant be ignored.

      Thanks for your help.

Dude you mean to say carburetor pipe or something else..
This time I will try with "mehboob garage",this is my 3rd free service. Previously I was giving it to the service center which is behind shopper stop(They are waste).

Yes carburetor pipe which feeds the fuel air mixture to the engine.. get it checked, spark plugs and the tuning of the carb. What to say man, I must say you were giving your Bull in the wrong hands. Just avoid them for the rest of your life :P

              • THUNDERBIRD 350 Issue- Engine Shuts Off Automatically

                hello,
I have a THUNDERBIRD 350 Twinspark. It has done only 3000 kms in 3 years . I use this bike rarely on weekend.
I am facing a very strange problem with the bike. 3 days back the bike was not starting and neutral light was not glowing, so i replaced the battery which was 3 years old. (Exide 14AMP).
After that the bike started in single kick. Used it for 3-4 km . Everything was fine. Today morning i was unable to start the bike. Kick and self both were not working. After 15-20 self i cleaned both the spark plug, drained the petrol in carburetor by opening drain bolt. Still the bike was not starting. Checked fuse and electricals. Now it started in single self, tried with kick it was working fine.
But the engine shuts off after every 1-2 km , Again it was not starting, I was stranded in middle of road, checked fuse, electricals, battery terminal, spark plug , everything seems to be fine. the bike started again after several attempts. but no matter how hard i rev it it shuts down in 1 min.
Somehow reached home, called service centre but they are not ready for visiting my home. Finally a roadside mechanic came. He checked fuel tank for water, sparkplug, carburetor, but was not able to diagnose the problem. The bike starts after 15-20 kicks but turns off after 1 min.
It is parked in open space. Is this because of rains.
                Experts please help.

Yes, even I have a feeling that its a 17 or 18 litre tank. This is purely on basis of my calculations, I am not sure about the reserve capacity.

It is a 20 litre tank. As mentioned in the manual, the last bar of the fuel gauge starts blinking when there approx 5 or 5.5 litres left in the tank. And reserve capacity is around 2 to 2.5 litres.

Of course, the fact that the digital fuel gauge is crazy and shows incorrect fuel levels is a different matter altogether!

I have been filling just 500 bucks of fuel, about 6.5-7 litres, 3 times from delivery upto 1st service so I always rode on reserve. And agreed, fuel gauge isn't perfect which compounds the problem , but let's see if it is at least coming accurate in a range.
Fuel tank capacity : 20 liters
                        Low fuel warning : 5.5 +/- 0.5 liters
Dead stock of petrol(Unusable fuel): 0.5 liters

is mentioned in the manual and I have checked it long ago(its correct) when my bike has to be transferred from my place to Bangalore.

Also, is hitting reserve coinciding more or less with low fuel warning?

In reserve my bike use to run for 85-92 kms ie., 2.4-2.6 liters(Usable)
Once i was running the bike in the reserve mode, bike suddenly was giving jerk(means fuel is empty) and I noticed that it is already in reserve mode . Thought I should push this bull for some kms, but I was lucky enough that I found the petrol bunk within 100 meters .Then i calculated the mileage and found the mileage is very low, thinking that the reserved petrol is of 3liters. After going home I took out the manual and found out as mentioned in the previous post and felt happy that my mileage was good ie., 36-38 .

Hitting reserve will never coincide with low fuel warning.

After seeing all the comments and experience, I say thanks to God for taking a decision to cancel my TB-350 booking.I found many forums praising there vehicle blindly-I don't blame them because no one should agree to say "there decision is wrong in selecting the TB-350".I found so many guys suffering a list of problems about there TB. They spend most of there time in workshop rather than office. Some of them always cover there meter-console with plastic sheet.By god's grace some of the Tb-350 owners reveal the truth to me and i cancelled the booking.
