    Hi...i have some questions regarding my 3.5 K kms old cl350...

    1. I don't know what a missing beat is...but while on road, during decelaration, I hear a couple of 'dum dum' beats (stock silencer)..is that one "a missed beat" ? Does it have an impact on the engine life or performance????

    2. I have spotted oil leak somewhere middle between between the primary and secondary drain bolts, underneath...I consulted the SVC guys..they said...they need to disassemble the engine and rectify that...and 3,days...they also said if it is not leaking like...1,drop per 10,minutes or so...it is fine...somehow...unhappily I had to return hearing this "disassemble", and "3,days" words...
    My question is ...is anything of that is correct....and

    Should I have an another SVC visit ?

          Dude your chain is Rusty get that soaked first. If you see the pipe cut then you should replace it. You should always mark the area you want to show. It's very difficult to understand otherwise.

            My bad that picture is old I have lubed the chain though but that pipe seems fragile and it needs replacement within 5 months.. I am uploading picture with markings

              Most of the ducts seem to be just wire housing. I wouldn't worry too.much about it. However in the last picture, the Breather pipe can be replaced. However it's not a high priority stuff and won't bog you down

                This last pic looks like the breather pipe has been cut, photos could have been better. This pipe carries air due to downstroak of the piston. This pipe goes to the air filter inlet, this might be serious in very dusty conditions as you are literally opening your engine to the outside, and theoretically this can carry particulate matter in your engine. There may be oil spills in the area where it is broken.

                Get it replaced at a SVC and also, if the service interval is near, get the oil replaced ASAP.

                  I am new to the thread, hence ignore my ignorance about the review points that has already cover in the thread. Just pointing to the section will work.

                  I have ZMR for list 4+ years completed 50K k.m. and now planing for upgrade or change of bike. Hence short listed Thunderbird 350 as one of the option along with CBR 205R (though I am more inclined towards Thunderbird and wife towards CBR).

                  Can some please let me how much is the maintenance cost of Thunderbird 350 per service and how does common parts (disk pads, chain kit, air filter, etc) cost, heard that it's too high with RE bikes. I being a ZMR user has one of the highest maintenance cost in Hero stable.

                  I just love to with blue colour.

                    Expect 2000-3500 per 3500-5000 km. It depends mostly upon the engine oil you are using. The labor charge is the next big cost. Rest of the parts dont really cost too much and are within a range of 120-700 rupees mark.

                      Anyone facing throttle unresponsive problem. My throttle goes numb after the 3500 mark no matter how much I twist. As if there is no fuel going into the engine after a certain point. No matter how much I twist the rpm stays at 3500-3800 and speed approx 90 kmph. This is not a problem in city but on highways and climbs its a headache and annoying as hell. Anyone with same experience and solution?

                            Check if fuel supply is fine. Can happen due to dust/particles clogged in fuel pipe/tank/fuel knob.

                            Other option is due to bad battery.

                            Anyhow, ASC should be able to fix without a fuss. Note it on next service.

                              I own a UCE C350. Clocked 14.5k kms. For first 6k kms, I used mineral oil, and then switched to semi synthetic for next 6k kms, and now it is running on full synthetic.
                              The problem is, my bike vibrates like hell, even on neutral gear. Doesn't accelerates as it used to before, it literally accelerates like a 100 cc motorcycle. My friend owns electra 350, whose engine is very much refined than mine. And accelerates well enough.
                              My question is, how do I solve these problems?

                                I have read somewhere that full synthetic for UCE is not recommended. Also, high octane fuel like speed, power etc is not recommended.

                                Try liquid gun once and see if things change.
