    Hello Guys,

i own a 2010 TBTS. Past few days i am facing some weird problems.

    - The back kick has become hard, sometimes it hits back really hard.
    - The bike died a few times while running. the RPM becomes low and it shuts down.
    - The RPM fluctuates many times
    - when i pull the bike beyond 70, it jerks

Also can anyone suggest a good mechanic near chembur.

thanks for the pointers in advance

    Rohit

Not sure what this is related to.

      But for other issues,
it Seems like your carburetor / air-filter is clogged, just clean or replace the air-filter and clean carburetor.
When did you do your last service??

        Guys,

Need a favour. Any pointers to good mechanics / service centers in Bangalore (around Indiranagar / C.V. Raman Nagar) to get my 2013 Thunderbird serviced?

I have already tried Teknik motors & had a couple of bitter experiences.

        Thanks in advance

I've tried to find alternatives but I get a lot of tubeless results, I am looking for a tubed tyre with the same specs as the original, just something that can hold its own in rough conditions.

I am also planning a ride to kashmir and assam next year, so I would appreciate the change
Yep. Zapper is only good on tarmac/ roads.
Slightest bit of water/mud/slush/gravel and all balance goes for a toss [emoji14]

I have heard there are a couple of tires from Ceat and Michelin which can give better offroading balance - will check and let you know if I find the exact product names.

                Guys....

Does anyone know abt a place where I can get alloy wheels for Thunderbird 350 (new model) in Pune. Yeah, I know abt Nana peth but the ONLY condition is that Card payment option should be available....

Pls reply ASAP.... also pls suggest some good tubeless tyres for T'bird...
                Priority should be as:
                1. Good grip on road even in wet conditions...
                2. Should be good quality. The stock ones (MRF) are pathetic if considering puncture frequency....
                3. Durability...

                Pls help asap...
                Thanks...

I Dont know about tubeless , but I Have changed my TBTS(2010 Model) Rear tyre to CEAT GRIPP (19") , it handles really well even on wet conditions. Earlier it should to fish tail a lot, now stops like a rock in a straight line. Have tried on curves as well , but when tried off-roading it failed to impress me older one mrf was better off in off roading conditions .

I have bought RE Thunderbird 350 last week (17th July 2015). till date its 70 km done
There is some screeching sound coming from rear disc break. when i try to rotate rear wheel by hand in neutral then also it make sound at one particular place.
Can someone advice if its serious and if i need to show attention, or will it go away with time.

                            Hello
Pragyaal, as its a new ride, go get it replaced asap, disks are very expensive, especially rear ones, and don't come under warranty.

If its properly aligned there should not be any squeaking sound,

Check if some part of the disk is getting heated after a short ride. Don't test it with your fingers, it can be very hot.

Hi,i just got my bike 2 months back so not really in position to give out advise but since none have replied here my 2 cents.
Theres a PDI list in this thread or 500thread.It is pretty long.In my case i just requested the delivery guy to do the PDI thoroughly and give me a good bike.i got his number and called him trice a day
About delivery do keep in touch with the dealer cause they can surely give bikes before date specified cause many just book the bikes with 5K and dont buy them.
Crash guard etc are much costlier at the dealership.
Do get your riding gear.there is separate thread -universal Riding gear.loads of info there.
A small point-i had a horrible time operating the petrol tank lock-locking the tank and getting the key out.Maybe just my case but do operate it twice before leaving the dealership.

                              Hi
I checked at the shop .The alloys start from 6500 and up.I have been following the RS200 alloy wheels thread and dropped the idea.

                                Cheers Riding mates!!

I have a question for the first owners of the new model TB350.. simply because they may be the most likely people to have the answer.. Has anyone of you been able to get their hands on the Service manual, Schematic diagrams, mechanical drawings, parts manual, etc, for the new model TB350? Im especially looking for the parts manual, becase i need to change a few bits and pieces because of rusting, and I thought i could kinda do it myself. But there is a problem in procuring the exact part, because i do not know what its ecxactly called. For instance, the metal sheet under the tank, connected on the chasis, I need to get it changed.

So now you know my problem right?? So if anyone in the group has any or all of the above documents, in any form, I would be grateful if you can share it. I need them specifically for this model, because i already have a few for other models, but i dont think they are much helpful to achieve what I intend to do.

                                Cheers!
                                g2r.
