the mechanics used to say that everything is same, just a different silencer. thats it.

Any news on the new "TBTS 350"? I have booked one, loooong back! Its been 8months now, no sign of delivery! Everytime i ask the dealer, he says "1 more Month"! Whats gonna happen to my booking? Any idea?

as you can read in the last few pages here, speculation is going on about the new model. where are you from ? how many months waiting period did the dealer give you while booking ? if its exceeded then drop a mail to customer care at [email protected] . they'll take care of it. nothing's gonna happen to your booking as long as the dealer has your money with them.

I am from Bangalore. The waiting period has exceeded, twice the number of months!!! They said 4-6 months, now its almost 8 months. I will drop a mail to the id, lets see what happens!

bhai, How the hell did you booked "New" TBTS 350 8 months ago ? I guess, noone (including showroom guys) was aware about the upgradation of 350 model till last month !! And neither the TB 500 was launched at that time, I guess... Or was it ??? What is the quoted price ?

Not the new one bro! I booked the old one, its been so long now since the booking, there is news that the new one is coming!!!! I was just asking what gonna happen to my old booking, will i get a old one or will i have to wait until "unknown" new one is released!! I think the way i mentioned it was confusing! Sorry!

Ohh Okies... Most probably you'll be getting the so called 'New' model only (if the delievery is delayed for 2 more months). BTW which color have you booked ?

Don't worry bro. AFAIK there no such a big change in engine. Just a few tweeks here and there, some much needed upgrades like headlamp, blinker, seats and some cosmetic upgrades...

There are Rumors of some new engine also, but if you have booked then don't you stop your delivery by 2 months, say them that you are out of town and you will come after November!! ANd you don't want old manufactured bike. So that he can sell it to some one else!!

BUt as i said these are not confirm that TBTS will be surely new like some thing different, or new engine is true!!

This would be a real messy decision actually!! Waiting for X months for bike suddenly hear of new model to be launched and being alloted old model will screnw you up...wait for more 2-3 months!!

I have seen some of the TBTS here in bangalore service centers. They all were 500.
And the mechanics got the training on the new engine already. Its all done.

The engine technology is new. And this will only be present in the TBTS. The classic will still have the old UCE engine as of now.
The engine is called something else, and not UCE. And spare parts ... man you dont have to think about that for at least next 4 years at least.

Man call up the chennai number that is present in the website. Ask for the south Sales manager number. THey will give you.
then call the sales manger and tell him everything.
But if you want the new one, then tell dealer that you wanna shift to the new one once it is released. Or else cancel the booking and book the new one in the brand store at bangalore ( if you are from bangalore) when the bookings starts.

Thanks Sir! will do that. But, i am in total dilemma now

Not sure if i need to wait or go ahead with the existing model. If i wait, and the new model release date gets delayed like our ISRO satellites then it will be a sad!

Gentlemen, I have been following this thread for quite sometime now, It's been very informative and helpful. But what draws me back from booking a new TBTS 350 is that I read here, that RE is going to launch new TBTS 350 next month side by side with the TBTS 500. My earnest request to my friends, will somebody please confirm whether this information is to be taken seriously or not. The reason is I don't want to regret.
