22 PSI is way too low. Please dont run with only 22 psi even though its recommended by manual.Originally posted by jayanth_b_p View PostGuys i was just going through the mannual and found out the air pressure given is 22psi(front) and 32(back)
Is it DOT3 or DOT4 used in enfields ? DOT 3 usually have a good life span and levels wont go down easily.
I wasnt even this much eagerly waiting for Dark knight Rises as I have been waiting for this film.Originally posted by surajit09 View Post...To every one :: The new Tbird is going to be launched for sure...

Hell... Can you please explain what does a "new" engine mean ? Is it based on completely new tech/platform or slight changes/mods in current one ??? Please please please explain... Rest is already confirmed but I'm fed up of asking this question again and again...Originally posted by surajit09 View Post..............
They confirmed that the new TBTS will come with a new engine (350). ..................

Called my dealer again. This time they seemed more sensible. They said, new model for 350 TBTS will be launched for sure, and all information regarding that will be available after 15th October. The delivery of new models would start by January.Gear for sale: fake A* bionic knee guards, 3" bar end mirrors. PM if interested.

@Rahul: I had booked my TBTS 350 (red color) with Dhone Auto (Market Yard) in the 3rd week of August. Visited him 2 weeks back, which is when he told me that a new TBTS 350 would be launched along with the TBTS 500 on 11th Oct. And that I would be given a choice of whether I wish to buy the existing TBTS 350, or pay the applicable price difference and go in for the new TBTS 350 instead.. Have been literally counting down the days since then!! Just 3 more to go...

Wow! Lucky you! You got the desired color. But as I booked in Sept. second week, Red and Silver (which I wanted) were discontinued.
Anyways, I'm still happy rather more than happy as I'm getting a much better model in return of my desired color...
You hope so !!? I WISH they will be there. I don't know why but I feel that xBhp won't be that much interested in RE's new launch as they're always about Duke/200NS/CBR/Ninja...Originally posted by Boom S View Postis xbhp going to be there ? I sure hope so.

I haven't yet decided whether I'm going to ahead with the exisiting TBTS model buddy.. I am in two minds.. Since a new TBTS 350 model is coming out anyway, why go ahead with buying the older technology... Just that I dont know in what color options the new TBTS 350 will be.. I've heard that they will only launch it in different shades of black. In that case, I'll have to compromise on my beloved red..Originally posted by Rahul.Gvli View PostWow! Lucky you! Hi,
Most of the oil leak issues mentioned in the thread are mostly about slow/minuscule leaks, which one might see on the floor after parking the bike for sometime.
Now this is the problem I faced yesterday with my TBTS and got my leg burnt. It was half an hour into a casual sunday ride when i noticed something hot on my leg.. yeah my leg was burning. I could not believe what I saw - hot engine oil oozing out and flowing down all over the engine and dripping down. I stopped the bike to see that the silencer is half covered in oil; the foot rest was dripping with hot oil. On closer inspection there was oil dripping from the cylinder fins too... and the engine oil level marker was showing that there's no oil left in the engine !! (but the bike was riding normal all this while without any hick-ups)
I am no expert on bikes, i hope somebody can tell me what could have been the problem for such a sudden and heavy leak (entire oil drained off in may be 10 mins or so). Anyways i have given the bike to the service station . It has done 1500kms. I have never sped over 80kmph.
I am really worried as to what might have caused this leakage. Could this be a case of faulty engine casting (faulty metal casting/crack) or as the service center guy told me that it is a case of a faulty gasket which needs to be replaced (under warranty ofcourse). Could somebody enlighten me on this please??

saw the bike yesterday both versions.out-going model seems to be more well designed and the new one lacks that originality somehow IMO.Originally posted by Rahul.Gvli View PostSeems like noone is much interested in launch... 3 more hrs to go... desperately waiting to see the bike in flesh...
