Both the CBZ classic and Star have same 156.8cc engine. Only the carburetor was changed from the Sliding Type carburetor to a conventional CV carburetor.Originally posted by lichin View Post

I've owned the original CBZ (bought new in 2000) for about 3 years. However I sold it as I was dissapointed by the engine that felt really crude/harsh as the revs built up. Moreover, the gearbox too wasnt smooth and I felt I had to change gears quite often when riding in the city. Sorry for the late reply. i designed it using a cars paper based filter. and its now easier for the bike to breath and doesn't wobble at high speeds due to lack of air in carb.Originally posted by CBZ View PostComment
