Ok bro. Thanks for the info.Originally posted by abhilashabhi12 View PostKarizma & CBZ are way too different engines.. While ZMA is relaxed & comfortable, CBZ is High revver & Ultra short stroke, harsh engine..
Neutral switch? I guess it might be the Oil Seal.If it is really engine oil, then it might be coming from the Neutral switch area, I had faced the same problem due to faulty neutral switch, get it checked.. Generally it doesn't go kaput,

Both the CBZ classic and Star have same 156.8cc engine. Only the carburetor was changed from the Sliding Type carburetor to a conventional CV carburetor.Originally posted by lichin View PostThe main difference is cbz classic is a 160 cc engine and star is 150.HH tried it for increasing mileage but hampered the performance of bike
for 2 to 3 km mileage hike.
CBZ extreme has a 149cc engine also used in Unicorn and co.

I've owned the original CBZ (bought new in 2000) for about 3 years. However I sold it as I was dissapointed by the engine that felt really crude/harsh as the revs built up. Moreover, the gearbox too wasnt smooth and I felt I had to change gears quite often when riding in the city. Im now thinking about a new bike and the Karizma R is on my shorlist.Originally posted by abhilashabhi12 View PostKarizma & CBZ are way too different engines.. I have a few questions for people who have owned both bikes (the original CBZ and the Karizma R).
1) Is the Karizma R engine much more refined and vibe-free?
2) Is the gearbox smoother on the Karizma R?

Compared to CBZ ZMA is much smoother. But if you are looking for refinement and smooth gearbox then there are other better options too.
