  • Checked with PBK last week and the count for Bangalore was 50 something IIRC. Mangalore has a PBK showroom so for entire Karnataka the count is much higher.

PS - sorry of OT, mods. But couldn't resist.

Yup the monster energy one - it goes with my Ninja green! Trust me, you cannot find an Arai Corsair V at that price anywhere else...

want a non-edited one, exhaust note should be good for me.

I was actually testing the cam last weekend. The manual suggested that I should keep the mic setting in 'low' when in high speed conditions. Unfortunately that setting hasn't picked up the engine noise well. Since the cam doesn't have a preview, I realized it only when I came back home and viewed it. Next time I shoot, I'll keep it on 'high' and then it might do justice.

Does this include Mangalore? When asked i was told by PBK that Mlore has a PBK center and this count does not include the ninja's sold in Mlore.

P.S. Was just thinking where you disappeared man. Nice to see you online after a long time.

daily commute and couple of 1k+ rides.

I had been facing some power problem with the battery prior to this service. At a point, the battery had become weak to an extent that I was not able to start the bike. A couple of visits to the service station for refresh charging lasting 10 hrs didn't help much either. Finally, I had to submit the battery for further analysis while I was riding on a standby battery. The result of the analysis pointed out a battery fault. The replacement battery arrived a week later and got it fitted during this service. The probiking guys did manage the whole thing well. Now thinking back, not sure if the frequent signal halts (Save fuel habit :-|) during commute had taken a toll on it. Anyways, I have begun to refrain from halting unless it is a long wait. I hate the traffic signals in B'lore as they don't display the wait time at most of the junctions.
Nice to see u here.. A question regarding the battery issue. On the traffic lights were you using the kill switch to switch off the engine or the ignition?

The reason I ask is coz the headlight stays on when the kill switch is used.

The count is for Karnataka so am assuming it includes Mangalore.

Been very busy with work... at times am not able to ride the Ninja for 15 days straight.

Nice!! I love the sight of those flames.
Is this a custom made exhaust, or one of those available for the Ninja250R?

Any visible difference in the bike's performance after installing the exhaust?

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                    • This is a TYGA exhaust that I got from Thailand, have just installed it yesterday & haven't really gone for a long ride yet but yes the initial does feel much better now. Its sounds fabulous though.

The flames looks awesome... now the questions..
                        > How much?
                        > Is there any observable performance difference.

Hey! Since you are from Hyderabad, I was wondering if I could meet up and check out your exhaust in person? The recorded sound is never the same, as it is when you hear it in front of you.

                          • Got it for a very reasonable Rs.14000 for the full exhaust. Initial surely has improved, but haven't checked the top end yet. I am sure there is gonna be a negative effect on mileage
