not necessarily a rim bend , On my comet , the rear bridgestone tire had the same leak issue and it was from the side walls , It was due to fine Dust/powder being accumulated . Needed to open it , Clean it and fix it and no drop in pressure.

I thought as much. Check the price in Del and Doon and go for the one thats the cheapest. If you can manage it from Chandigarh, nothing like it. Should be the cheapest there. @nitro-- a small advise.
Get from a place where you would be getting the bike serviced. Buying is a one time affair, service is what matters.

Service should not be a problem.
