We paid Rs. 3400 for the Pirelli Sports Demon rear tyre - rode back home, so far so good! Anyway, it is way better than my bald ex-tyre. The IRC's lasted well - took me around India and a total of 16,000 kms.

    The front is Rs.2400...

    Thanks Asim!
    Nice.Please post some pics.

    • @bluevolt.. No thanks required bro.

The tyres seem pretty grippy... Swayed around the traffic a bit while coming back home..

But the real test will happen next month when I go for this:

Not really. I went at around 100kph today, and I did not feel any vibrations, which means that there is no balance issue. I would focus on the alignment than the wheel balance.

Correct size, and lovely tyres, I have these on my P220 for over 10k kms now, lovely grip, but I would HIGHLY suggest you getting sport demon tyres, trust me, its worth the money, you will corner at much higher speeds and you will be able to brake much later with more force, it grips like a leach.
I dont have enough words to explain how good they are, really dont.

A 130/80 would be a wrong size for the P220 and as well as the Ninja, best suited is the 130/70, which they and I have.
A 80% sidewall will be too tall and will increase the tail.

Not sure what you mean...Both of us junked our old tyres at the shop and rode home with the new ones on.

It looks much bigger now! Maybe it was us getting used to our bald tyres, which looked much thinner after all the use

Whats with us Indians and our quest to know about mileage of each and everything that is on road??????

Boss, if u need a mileage bike then go for a moped, if u want performance then you are never concerned about mileage. I haven't even tried to find out mileage of my baby Ninja.

                              GROW UP!!!!

It's a harmless enough question & positively asked & owners can surely answer it
