Oh and btw got the call from pbk guy yesterday. He asked me to pay the balance tommorow.Bike will be dispatched from pune on tuesday..
Don't think price of 250R will reduce
      250R price in Thailand: 1,47,500 Baht ~ INR 2,18,192
      650R price in Thailand: 2,57,000 Baht ~ INR 3,80,172
So 650R price in India @4.5~5L should be justified

Btw advanced congrats for your 250R
When was your booking date and is it a Green or Black ?

My Dealer at Hyderabad said that some green bikes are arriving this week and dispatch would be done by the head office on first come first serve basis (Booking Date)

Thanks! and back at ya! ..
I had booked it about a month back i guess. No idea about the first come first serve scenario in the PBK showroom in B'lore.

Oh and it is the Mean Green.. Initially wanted to buy the Black one but jus before booking i turned back to check on the black display one last time and for a moment could not differentiate between that and a pulsar standing beside it. :P
Thought that If am gonna spend 3.2 lac on a bike would as well buy one which would stand out ..

Now need to go and cancel my booking for CBR

Most probably, you should be able to get the delivery in the specified time range.

current issue of bike mag had a ninja Vs cbr compare. and cbr beats ninja hands down... you know in what .... the price. rest of the article some fancy writing in favour of cbr, all the test results are for the ninja. now will have to wait for the yamaha 250 to try and dent the ninja Armour.
Absolutely!! In both Bike and Overdrive magazines selected CBR as the winner, mentioning the price factor!!

I felt the blow more realistic :

After ruling the 250cc territory for over two decades, the Kawasaki Ninja 250R has finally got a challenger in the form of the new Honda CBR250R. Will it be possible for the old hand Kawasaki to hold its own against the tech-laden young Honda?

ya agree the the zigwheels review actually makes more sense, not to forget the indian market is more money minded and kms/ltr !!!!....i feel Ninja is way better and is value for money

Rightly mentioned. Its only in the price factor that CBR beats Ninja. Apart from the cc's, both bikes, as I have repeated before, belong to different leagues altogether.

                            Two obvious points

                            1. If half (or more) of the parts of Ninja are manufactured in India instead of being imported from Thailand, then its price can reduce too (and hence the same may apply to the quality)

                            2. CBR is too new on roads yet. Let it be on the scene for an year or more and it will be then its up and downsides will be realised and one will get the clearer picture.
