You can't ride a ninja 400+ kms in a stretch. Fuel runs out much before that.Originally posted by sachinzeus View PostNever argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

Well you canOriginally posted by trustvishwas View PostYou can't ride a ninja 400+ kms in a stretch. Fuel runs out much before that.
. If you keep it below 60kmph and 4000 rpm
. You can even do 500!

Yes. It surely can but you would be dead from boredom long before that. Riding N250 below 60 kmph for 8 hoursOriginally posted by JAKRAP View PostWell you can

I second that.. Since the fuel price has almost touched 77 in b'lore, everyday when i start the bike i convince myself to not go beyond 80, But once i hit the EC Elevated highway the bike takes control and refuses to go below 120..Originally posted by trustvishwas View PostYes. guys,I have a doubt regarding run-in.Some of my friedns who have had experiences with bikes suggested not to keep the rpm below 4k as suggested in the manual, instead revving a few times beyond that will actually be better for the engine. Why is it so?
(one of them owns a ninja, cbr and an R1.so I dont think he could be totalyy wrong)AweSome is too LesS!

If you ride it always below 4k rpm during the initial 1000 or 1500 kms whatever is the run-in distance for your bike then it will be a duck, and will not be so much responsive or say rev friendly with the throttle!! Thats why they suggested you to give occasional bursts. If you strictly follow the manual's procedure then maybe the pistons of both cylinders curse youOriginally posted by vinbex View Postguys,I have a doubt regarding run-in.Some of my friedns who have had experiences with bikes suggested not to keep the rpm below 4k as suggested in the manual, instead revving a few times beyond that will actually be better for the engine. Why is it so?
