Well Satyen..firstly i got a black bike bcos i know black bikes travel faster than other colors. Now i will try putting all those stickers u mentioned. i hope each sticker increases the top speed by atleast 5 km/h

Is there any way to increase the performance of the Ninja 250R? I badly need it as my life is at stake!!

2) Last time on the highway i was racing with an Innova. I managed to overtake him (we were doing around 140+) but i couldnt shake him off my rear view mirror. Need the NInja to go faster, much faster than Innovas. I hate Innovas you see! Please dont tell me to remove my rearview mirrors!
The performance increase should be in the following range
1) 0-100 (the current one should do it in 7 seconds). Am looking at somewhere below 5. If you can help me make it 3, nothing like that.
2) Top speed of atleast 200 (no driving off the cliff stuff!). The last time i met a college Launda in Probiking he said his Ninja goes to 200! Why cant mine?

1) I have distantly heard of souped up R-15 being Ninja killers. I need to soup up my NInja before any of the R-15s kill me or my Ninja. You know i want to stay alive (being recently married, my wife loves me very much and i dont want to loose her love).

Objective for performance modifications

Want to make it a Firebald (if you havent heard about a firebald, go light a cigarette from the cooking gas stove (put ur face down when u light)) killer. It doesnt mean that i need a rocket launcher on it but need it to go faster than a firebald till atleast 150 (know the firebald is 1000cc) I know there is "no replacement for displacement" but i dont want any more displacement because there are a lot of displaced villagers in India and i dont want to pick up fights with them.

@JAKRAP: You are lucky to have a wife who loves you. Don't risk your life/try to waste your time racing with others on the highway-ride at a safe speed which you enjoy&go back home to your loved one.
The pleasure of seeing the smile on her face is much more than the angry look on the Innova guy's face after being smoked.

If the above words don't matter much...If I were to be looking for an SUV thrasher, I would consider a 650 if my budget permitted.

All the best. Even after you find any such set of mods that fulfills your criteria, we xBhpians will be waiting for you with yet another complaint about say "Now I want to smoke Civics, Octavias, Audi A6/A7 's...they overtake me at 200kph"

@Jakrap Please put a sticker which reads '650R' on you Ninja. Its the holy grail of all stickers. Guaranteed sub 5 second ton. And for heaven's sake.. Innovas are the easiest to smoke. They rarely run over 110.

@Satyen I Thought that black bikes are black because they are faster than speed of light. Thats the reason why they are black, light can never reflect off them

ha ha you have put the thread on turbo drive atleast. there is no cheap option here. but one way to get a 15% genuine speed boost on the stock is to go for ultra light marchesini wheels on your ninja costing about 1.5 lakhs. combined with a tuned performance exaust ( not aftermarket cans you get ) innovas are game.

you have not yet touched the engines yet. part 2 is to spoil your engine ( i mean push your engine) by playing around with the ECU and / aftermarket juice box.

they floor the pedals on the innovas on a clear straight go above 150 or so. but once they slow down ninja cuts the innova down. that is if you are riding at a speed of about 120 to 140 on the ninja. so many times i had played with innovas, but one has to remember that you are on a bike and he is in his tin can. so we have to play safe. with a rear passenger ninja is really slow for any games esp with fast cars.

Hate to advocate this but get a 600 (not clean) & keep it for track-usage. Buy a 650R.

Or keep your 250R for track-usage & buy a 650R.

Junk both, buy 796.

Do the Car drivers get that much of an open road (gaps) in traffic to be a bother?

I ve never heard/seen any r15 being a ninja killer. a few did manage a top end of 140-150km/h. i moved into 6th, waved good bye and calmly went on to 170km/h while humming my favorite tune.

So the speed or greed for speed is always good. It ever ends!!

Ha ha so the speed bug has got you...nothing unusual..since at 60yrs I find 110 on highway to be sedentary,you at your age will find 150 to be shuffling of feet.

An FFE will get you to top speed fast,and so is the case with power commander which can alter injector PWM and Ignition timing map.
Enhanced displacement will give you satisfaction for the next 6 months..I guess
About the wararnty, its either 2 years or 30K kms and i have just another 5K left.

Save money, fill-up & ride more. I was referring to a used, not clean 600. Shouldn't cost a bomb & should be easy to find, wot?
