Great find TV... Just for another update for people going for their 3rd service and planning to get spark plug changed. Ninja 250 uses NGK CR8E , which is the same fitted in R15 and costs only Rs 75.. so a net saving of (275 -72 =200) * 2 = 400 bucks...Originally posted by trustvishwas View PostThese chains should reach Pune latest by Friday.

The company name is L.G. Balakrishnan & bros Ltd. They are No. 1 OEM supplier of Drive Chains with 70% market share and around 50% in the Replacement market. They have 6 factories in India and 5 offices out of India.
Spoke with a guy in LGB's Pune branch. He was extremely friendly and promised to enquire with Head Office and call me back once he gets any concrete information. In the mean time, he suggested that in case of emergency, I can use Karizma chain by removing some links. It has exact same pitch, pin dia etc.
Today received a SMS and call from him that the R & D of his company has manufactured two pc. of x ring chains and they have been despatched to Pune. Quadra X-Ring design increases chain life from 1.5 to 2 times longer than a standard O-Ring chain.
These chains should reach Pune latest by Friday.
The MRP - Rs.1880/-
So if someone is in the market for a replacement chain, he knows where to head for

I think we should sum up all money saving tips/ spares on the first page of this thread. So that they become easily accessible for everyone.
Can the thread starter edit his first post and put in details of following - (please add if I have forgotten anything)
1. FZ16 hugger by Bluevolt
2. Fiat Palio bulbs instead of stock bulbs
3. TVS Jive indicators instead of stock indicators
4. ROLON chain instead of stock chain
5. R15 spark plugs instead of stock spark plugs
