Has anyone here installed rear-set foot pegs for the Ninja? I am sure that many would love to have an aggressive ergonomics which is almost on par with the R15.
PS: I neither own a Ninja nor am I close to buying one in the near future. However, I have ridden her once; not to mention that I instantly fell in love with her and thought: "Yeah, someday!"

a small discussion
folks,
I have an issue (don't know whether you will feel it's an issue or not). In my office the bike parking area is open, without any shade...well, to be precise, it's a info tech-park, so, after entering the campus, the bike has to be parked in open. Now considering my vehicle is just couple-of-days old, would that be an issue keeping it exposed under the sun/during rain? Please put your thoughts (if anyone experienced/is experiencing any issue due to open parking!!!)

If you are that worried, bajaj also sells flimsy bike covers for 900 odd bucks, use those. You can keep them in office, so no need to carry them from home to office everyday.Originally posted by JonnyRider View Postfolks,

@taaz: thnx for a quick reply...I have a bike cover from RJays, but can't bring that to offc as it's quite big (Now don't laugh at me
)...I am just wondering if anyone has faced any issue due to weather, keeping it in open parking...

Story: Headlight bulb for ninja
The Quick -
The search for ninja's headlight bulb brought me to the Wuerth India Pvt. Ltd. (Home)
And The Dead -
Last week, my GreenBeret's low beam light went kaput and being in Raipur (C.G.), I had little hope on finding the correct bulb. Got to know from Vishwas sir that Fiat Palio Bulb is direct fit but even finding that became tough.
The ninja 250r comes with a 12v/55w Phillips H7 bulb (with 2 pins at the end) but everyone here (including the Phillips dealers) seems to have only 100w bulb. Lost all the hopes & asked Mr. Vishwas to get the stuff from Pune.
As luck would have it, we found out that the H7 bulb was from a German company called 'Wuerth'. And to much of my surprise, they have a office at Raipur too. Quickly called up the guys, fixed up a meeting & arrived at their office. The Wuerth bulb model was again H7 & correct specs. Replaced the bulb in front of them & paid the price of Rs. 222.3 (195+14% vat)!! (versus Rs.300 as quoted in Pune).
The Wuerth guys were friendly & ready to help. The store guy said that they don't retail in Chattisgarh but can bill this as 'special case'. He even insisted that I should take few bulbs more for my other 'big bike friends'. Let me know if someone is looking for ninja's bulb (even for the high beam, same bulb is used). I'll be happy to help.
PS: I've check the bulb only in daylight till now, will check again after dark & update here.

Narayanan is like the GM or something for Chennai PBK and personally looks after the Ninja sales and service. He is the senior most guy there after the MD. Incidentally, its ALWAYS better to visit and inquire in person than to phone.
