  • I have noticed the oil warning lamp light up for a second or so on hard braking but this has happened only once or twice to me. Engine did not stall though. This was after i let the engine warm up (temp needle allowed to reach "C" mark to ensure adequate oil circulation in the engine parts) and then start riding and then hard brake a km away (thanks to the birth of an unmarked speedbreaker :P)

      So this answers everything!
Ninja 2011 is without speedo error then

It is opposite on my 2011 model, I "tried" some high speed runs in Nice road some time back with GPS enabled on 3 phones. It so happened that i was not able to cross 145ish(definitely below 150) due to heavy cross winds and random traffic. However the the GPS reading was weird.
BTW The day was bright and not cloudy.

How does it know if the bike is standing or not? Till what angle the bike needs to fall before the sensor activates?

This sensor is based on gyroscopic principle and is normally attached to the chassis.

Twist the accelerator and a Tsunami of G-Forces hit you, reaching 100 kmph in a matter of seconds, all 33 horses and 22 Nm of torque giving you what modern science would call an orgasm.

It is a maintenence free battery, so does not require charging unless you leave the bike unused for more than a couple of months.

yes you are right. that's best way to keep your battery in good shape. for ninja every thing is in the battery. so for 3 years you can take the battery for granted with reasonable care. 4th year well you may be able to manage, but definitely not a LEH ride or similar. 5th year its better you change the battery what ever the case, unless you are riding only within the city and when the battery breaks down you buy a new one.

If you have disconnected battery, you should not face any problems.

On the other hand, you could have kept your bike with one of us. We would have taken good care of her with regular rides and handed over all the fuel bills when you came back.
