I changed the rear suspension from 2 (default) to 3(harder one), and feel the bike has improved around the corners .. for obvious reasons..Originally posted by vinbex View PostIs there anyway to change the suspension setting in the NINJa?

You can change to 3 also and, you will feel the difference..
The blocks are the weights attached to the rim of the wheel for balance.. you mush have heard about wheel balancing in for cars , same is the case for our bike.RIP Marco

It will have all the details such as rating, specs, code, model #, etc. You can check with Performance Racing Store or Bachoo Motors in Mumbai if they can source it for you. Try Planet DSG also. eBay and Google will be helpful too.
The Ninja's stock suspension setting is tuned for rider+pillion not weighing over 160kilos. The stock setting is a bit hard but works wonders for cornering and handling.Originally posted by vinbex View PostIs there anyway to change the suspension setting in the NINJa? If you revert to a softer setting handling and high speed cornering might be affected. Read the owners manual to understand how this setting can be changed.
The aluminium blocks attached to the wheels are "wheel weights". These are added to ensure the wheels are perfectly balanced giving you a smooth ride. Some are stuck to the wheel using double sided adhesive tapes while others are clamped to the wheel's center lip.ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!

I presume that you already own a N250. Why not open up a panel and check battery specs instead of asking others? If you are unable to open it, call your PBK service centre and ask them.Originally posted by online8519 View Postplz verify that the battery is yuasa ytx9-bs. Posting this for the benefit of the group...
As some of you may know, Bachoo Motors is the sole distributor in India for RJays products (gear, luggage, helmets, etc.) and is also now a distributor for Airoh Helmets, Italy. Here is a link to the official Airoh helmets website.
I searched for reviews on Airoh helmets here, but couldn't find any.
Orion Yamaha near Forum Mall, Blore, has quite a few of these helmets (they are retailers for Bachoo Motors) and i particularly had my eyes set on the Speed Fire One (link). The helmet is lighter than my SparX and the paint quality, fit and finish, graphics is excellent. This particular model is priced very reasonably too (around Rs. 7.5k at Orion) compared to the price of Rs. 8.5k i paid for my SparX. I was so tempted that i almost bought this lid.
It looks really awesome in the flesh.
Most imported helmets are manufactured in China or Korea or some other Asian country (A* products are mass produced in China, my bionic knee guards are genuine A* but made in China) but the Airoh's are Made in Italy and are DOT certified.
I would highly recommend this helmet in lieu of SparX, KBC, etc. for the price point at which it is offered.
Orion also has HJC helmets at a festive price until stocks last. The HJC's are on sale for 7k onwards and there is a Rs. 500/- off on purchase of each HJC lid until stocks last. These are DOT certified.
Personally i am not a fan of the graphics on the HJC's but for those who are on the lookout for a good helmet this price and the ongoing offer should be helpful.ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!
