@Harikesh: I guess, you have achieved the feat of the "Iron-butt"'s saddlesore...were you consciously targetting that, or just went for getting HIGH?

P.S. - isn't the seat too hard for such a strenuous ride ["saddlesore" on Ninja is practically a "bun-burner"

I think it might be a good news for people looking for a new battery in 5-6 months time , that the new pulsar 200NS comes with the 12V 8Ah battery...

Well! It was a group ride with 20 other bikers. Had to keep in their pace.

I do RIP the KL Ninja all the time but I'm still getting 20-25kmpl in city and 35-40kmpl in highways.

Hey cool was worried there for a moment... The last page of the blog shows 852 now though.. From 1200 something some days back... Still not sure how... Which page number does it show you for the last page?

the base is saddle sore. yes you require some target to munch miles esp at night. yes i have documented the ride.

ninja has hard seat and it takes a toll. i am having a bad back and wear a waist support belt during my rides. i could have put a large padding on the seat, but decided against it as it may do more harm than good. but generally it is better to pad up the seat.couple of xbhpians have already done it. Yes my but is burned, hopefully i can ride again within a week.

yes except for the reflective strips on the trouser/jacket/boots.

Had the biggest ride on the NInja so far.

Was cruising at 6K on the plains aside from a few bursts. Funny thing is the mileage was 32kmpl downhill (i.e. out of Bangalore) and 39 uphill - I'm quite happy in any case

...I too noticed around 38 KMPL, within 1600 KMs break-in period...afterwards, I'm getting 34-35 KMPL on the highway...well, in a group ride I don't ride beyond 90 KMPH, for the pack to move together... occasional bursts up to 150, is included, in the count of 34-35KMPL...

I guess I should thank bluevolt for doing a good run-in (you deserve a coffee for that next time we meet). 34-35 sounds pretty good. JAKRAP's 18 in the city makes me feel old.

I think the number of posts/page changed for a little while in between to seven. Now it's back to whatever it was before (ten?).

Coolant

Hey Guys,

Yesterday first time I opened the right fairing of my ninja. Its so simple to do and very informative about your bike. I observed one thing coolant level is at its Lower mark

. I never observed any leakage except few ml at initial period of my bike purchase may be within first 500KM now my Bikes reads 6200KM and 2nd servicing is pending. I will switch Oil to semi-synthetic Motul 15-W-50 Chain alignment and general check-up anything else I should demand for check-up. Please suggest me about coolant which is to be purchased from market or whether servicing guys will have it in stock. Bike's first servicing was done at Ghatkopar I found this service station very lazy and not so good so I am going to try Thane service station any suggestion about this.
