Fundamentally, taking a loan means having the means to repay. With no income, no parental support and no credit history - you're a default risk!

Highly unlikely that you can get a loan under the circumstances but if you do succeed, I'd be intrigued to know how you pulled it off!

To be honest i think it's the analog dash... To be more specific the fact that there's no fuel gauge... I guess you figure out the fuel thingy with experience... But it would have been nice to have one anyway... Kinda reassuring when one needs to look at things in a jiffy!
Another thing after paying 3 lakhs for this baby. It does not come with a decent security system. Itjust has a normal handle bar lock like an ordinary bike which costs 10 times less. I would have paid more to have system like is on the top-end honda bikes (H.i.s.s), I am after all paranoid! I wonder if it's the same with the Ninja 650r. Maybe the Kawasaki supersport have systems like that. Gonna buy a decent lock system once i decide who- ones i want. It would have been nice to have something like that come with the bike! But i guess 3 lacs ain't worth crap these days!

              That's about it i guess!

              • First oil change - when and where?

So one of the basic questions:
                • When should I get the oil changed the first time? I've just hit 500km and one of my friends recommended that I change the oil as a precaution for now.
                • Where should I get the oil changed from? Has anyone got the oil changed at a Shell gas station? Are they able to do it?

I would suggest Motocool, a Motul product.

I changed oil at the 1000 km mark and there were no metal fragments in the oil. Its personal choice if you want to change it earlier than 1000 kms.

Why would you want to change oil at the Shell bunk? You can buy oil there and ask PBK to change it for you.

For me its the absence of LED indicators and LED tail lights, lack of an engine immobilizer, rear tire hugger, softer seat (or hard seat edges), digital odo (not speedo or tacho) with electronic trip meters, etc.

You forgot gear indicator, HID head lamps

I have now got, led tail lamp with integrated turn signals, gear indicator, rear tyre hugger, gel based seat cushion, HID head lamps..

Guys, there's so much available for a baby ninja that one can customise it according to one's taste/ preference, so why think twice, its the right choice.

Gear indicator yes and also shift light which can be preset to the RPM you want to shift at.

HID's are not on my list since i dont ride at night and i'm very happy with the stock lights.

                          • Guys, I am in need of a paddock stand. So please suggest me the best one. And also if there are better aftermarket paddock stands do we need those side bobbin things ? What about the paddock stand which will be available in the PBK service center? What about its cost? ( if PBK gives any paddock stands I mean )

If someone in your city has a paddock stand you can take it to a fabricator and get it designed to specs for a fraction of the cost.

Else contact Bachoo Motors. He has the RJays paddock stands which are universal fit for any swing arm size - link.
