Use the Motul Chain clean for cleaning the chain - it will clear up most of the dust\dirt. You can also use a toothbrush and Diesel if too much dirt piles up.

To clean the chain, spray the chain clean solution on the outside and inside of the chain (or above and below the swingarm on the chain), leave for 20 mins. You will see the dirt and muck falling off on to the floor. If the chain is very dirty, use a soft tooth brush or a cloth (ensure no loose threads or this will get stuck in the chain links) and brush off the dirt. Now spray the lube on the chain and leave for at least an hour so it dries up or you'll end up with dirty rims. Best to do this after a ride since heat expands metal and the solution will penetrate the links better.
Check on youtube. there are several videos that will show you how to clean and lube your chain.
Avoid using diesel/petrol etc. on the chain as it will cause the rubber in the o-ring links to breakdown. This piece of info is from a reputed and popular kawasaki service expert.

does this happens with everyone too?

A two step cleaning procedure, first diesel wipe down to remove the dirt and grime. And then followed by soap wash. The second step removes diesel._________________________

I am from delhi and the traffic here leaves me with the heated engine mostly a finger below the RED HOT mark, the radiator fan then whizzes to cool it off and when the radiator is running, the bike becomes a bit sluggish, not so much to notice, but ofcourse not normal.
IS it just me here who goes thru with this,or others too?
and if its normal?

Get in touch with Abhimanyu31, he can help you source out dealers in India. I have personally seen it in action on Abhimanyu's R16 and his ride's radiator fan barely rather never switches on. It keeps the engine temperature as low as 5-10'C compared to normal coolant. Highly recommended for SBKs and water cooled based bikes. So your thighs and the little gentlemen don't get fried when stuck in peak traffic!!
Pricing wise bit expensive though.
Hope this helps,

Google this thread or YoutubeOriginally posted by Mithungo View PostI have been using it with the Motul Chain Clean. It is much more thicker than OKS and does not drip much on the alloys.

I am using the motul chain clean road and chain lube road too and its an excellent product.

Fans run on battery and it puts quite a bit of load on the electrical system. Optimum performance depends on sensors which are powered from the bike's electrical system. Noticeable on my bike but not so much that the bike is robbed of power. You can sense the load on the bike though.
Diesel is a better option. Storing petrol and using it poses safety hazards since it is a highly flammable substance. Or use the plain old Pril dishwasher on the rims. It is a very good degreaser too.
Would need one saar although not urgently. How much will be cost?
Congrats Harikesh. Thats quite a feat and an achievement. Wishing you all the best for many more happy miles and milestones on the ninja.Originally posted by isodope View PostIf you're looking for less fling and a longer period in between lubes, look for dry lube, aka chain wax. No fling and sticks much better.Originally posted by shv18 View Post

All are good. The last one is the best but not available in India. If you have access to someone who can import this, you will surely enjoy this product.
There are some available in local stores as well. Try those with care.
