Not mods..but a few addons that may help.
    1. Bike Cover (Kawa or RJ) .For me it is really a pain to keep the blacky dust free.
    2. Race Stand (I think Kawasaki one cost 7k. You can get an RJ for 5.6k and if you decide to make one..much cheaper )
    3. Frame Sliders - Go for the Puig - it is comparatively cheaper.Although heard from this forum that there is more chance of frame damage in a crash.
    4. Rear Tyre Hugger .Search this forum on how to put the FZ hugger. I won't recommend the CBR hugger unless I try it out.
    5. Motul 3100 Oil, Motul Chain Clean and Lube.

And if you are flush with cash go foradjustable levers, rearsets, bubble screen.. and an aftermarket exhaust.

    • Had gone to replace my front fairing. The color was not matching and had to send it back. It seems there are slight variations for older and newer models. The arrived fairing was not the 'metallic' black as my bike - rather a more dull black.

I've done almost 21,000 kms on my bike so far. Its not much compared to the other veterans here considering my ninja will be two years old next month.

I vivdly remember each and every ride on this machine, the planned and the abrupt/unplanned ones - to ooty, wayanad, chennai, yelagiri, yercaud, mysore, and tons of places within karantaka.

Its been a fantastic journey and i never for once faced any reliability issues. I've taken really good care of her and she moans to me pretty often reciprocating the love and enjoyment we both share on our rides together (the moan is a faint sound from the gas tank ).

So i got her a gift for my birthday (which was back in Feb this yr). Its the bike monkey LED tail lamp. Not integrated with any turn signals. This is just the tail lamp but in smoked lens. Looks great since the rear has a blacked out look when the lights are off and when the led's glow the bike is visible for quite a distance. Cost me US$100. Not cheap but looks great

A couple of my friends keep asking me to sell the bike to them. I cannot think of parting ways with my darling. For a puny 250cc bike this one just blows my mind everytime i ride out. Fantastic stability, excellent acceleration and brilliant reliability, looks, etc. Even if i upgrade to a bigger bike this one shall remain with me. Its so simple to ride and is very forgiving too. A bigger bike comes with a nasty temper.

P.S. Just thought i'd share. apologies if i bored someone.
Posting after a very very long time, nice post aditya. The Ninja is giving me sleepless nights these days. Just want to get one for myself.

I'm planning on importing this regularly, so put up a test posting to gauge interest... Will import as per order now, until I develop a stock to sell on demand... Also planning on bringing down the tyga brand to India... Wish me luck...

its better to ride bike stock for about 500 kms and see how the bike is. then you can put in all the bells and tongs.

            • Anyone has information on data logger(for data aquisition) for Ninja 250R. Information as in where to get it, requirements for installation etc.

What is it exactly that you want to measure?

You can take a look at this http://www.performancebox.co.uk/overview.html

I don't know if its possible with the amount of electronics we have on the ninja 250, but i'm looking for a complete telemetry of the bikes performance for a single run. Things like, average rmp, max rpm, rpm at which gear was changed, amount of throttle used, rpm at which gear change took place, average brake pressure, max brake pressure, etc etc. To be exact, I need something like the Ducati Data analyser for the Ninja.

That too not only one time entry, I need it to get maximum information from the bike and the way I ride it for a single run. Stuff like the professional racers use. I know its costly, but I want to know what am I aiming for.

Yeh, the link really helps, i'm just going through the details

                    • Hi Guys,

Have booked mine in Black and am awaiting the delivery. Should be with me in 10 Days time. Upgrading from a machismo 500 with a heavy frame and height of 6", my only fear is that I don't dwarf the Ninja

The only thing which I am not satisfied is the exhaust note of the bike. I scanned thru several videos on the internet and have come to terms that Area P - Std 12" Carbon is the bomb!

Wanted to ask if anyone has tried the exhaust? and if it is available in india? Saw their website, the full system costs around $500, have dropped them an email to check if they are willing to ship it to india with extra charges.

                      Cheers!

As far as performance bump goes, AreaP delivers the maximum output and bang for your buck. I dont know if anyone here has the AreaP on their bike since it has to be imported directly from abroad.
