Gets even betterOriginally posted by Mithungo View PostThat is the first time somebody spoke well of the TVM PBK
I got my bike a day before registration only cause the showroom manager had made a promise to me... It really made my day. Today I gave the bike early morning for registration and I got my bike back in a couple or hours. After having some really bad experiences with the Yamaha and Royal Enfeild here.. This was by far the best experience I've had from any showroom.
I hope the same enthusiasm is present at the service center as well when I make an appearance for my services lol :P

My recent experience with TVM pbk.
My Ninja's left side handgrip became loose and I was using it since 6 months because of spare parts unavailability. Then I read Trustvishwas's post about the loose handgrip replacement under warranty. I approached pbk to replace it under warranty but they declined and said it bacame loose because of usage. I pointed to him that some members from pune got it replaced, so he said he need to speak to the service engineer. After some days I called him but he said engineer declined the warranty and he need more time to check, again I called after some days and he said the SE declined again and he will call me when he have any updates. Then I waited some another days and as Trustvishwas adviced I shot an email to bajaj customer service to enquire about warranty.
After 1 hour I got a reply from a bajaj official stated that the issue will be sorted out soon. After some hours probiking guy called me and asked, sir why did u made a complaint before coming to pbk and we could fix it? I said I already came there 2 weeks ago. Then service engineer called me and said sir please come here as now to fix the issue, it was friday and I said I will come there on Monday. Next day pbk called, can you come today? I said I will come on monday. Then the Asst Manager called me and said, sir please come today and we will fix it within 1 hour because as per bajaj we need to fix it today itself. I agreed and said I will reach there at 1 pm. During riding to pbk I got not lessthan 5 calls from him to say please come faster I am waiting. Then I reached there, Asst manager said they will glue the grip instead of replacement (I had got a mail previously from bajaj official states that they will glue it if it is not broken). The mech detatched the grip and glued, the Asst Manager (he is working on another office and came only to fix this issue) was there with the mech throughout the process and gave enough instructions to him. He said, sir next time if you get any issues please contact me and don't complain to the baja because even a small complaint from ninja owners will give them high problems. He gave me his email id and said please send me an email feedback at evening because he need to send it to bajaj today itself. I went to my home and he called me 2 times (4pm and 8 pm) to inquire about the grip.
This is the first time I got these kind of World Class experience from them. Eventhough my email was not a complaint but to inquire about the warranty avalability on a small handgrip problme, they handled it like a serious issue and fixed it to my satisfaction. Kudos to Bajaj.
I wonder why bajaj fried them like this for a small handgrip issue. May be bajaj have an eye on this thread and read all the complaints about them

You may need to send an email to the bajaj as I didOriginally posted by vijeth v View PostI am really disappointed with the attitude of the Khivraj motors people Bangalore.

Same here, no appointment needed. But no bays for ninjaOriginally posted by trustvishwas View PostHere in Pune, you don't need to take appointment for Ninja service. Only if both the bays are already working on Ninja or if technician is not present, you would need to go back.
The total 3 bays they have are always working on other small bikes. I pointed the issues we are facing to the Assistant Manager that we are not satisfied, one oil change took 6 days, another issue still not fixed after 3 visits etc. He said there will be no issues like that in the future

Bajaj do give a deadline to address all the complaints made on web/email/call within 48 hours of its reception at the regional office. They have ranking among the service centers of a region and they do take it seriously during the regional meetings held once in 2 or 3 months. Those with high number of complaints get thrashed with remarks like "why are u even operating a SVC when u can't even handle a problem". Others do need to file a proper report citing the cause of the problem, time taken to resolve, actions taken. No matter is small for them, even if its a handgrip. I did give in writing that am satisfied with the work done, the service manager scanned it and sent it to bajaj. Courtesy to the Service manager (Mysore SVC), he gave all the details of problems arising out of WEBCC complaints, procedure and after effects.Originally posted by maheshkmr View PostMy recent experience with TVM pbk.

There is nothing like complaints or clarification in such cases. All the mails are forwarded to the regional office and then to the concerned SVC. These WEBCC complaints are like a black mark on their career!
Once you give a WEBCC complaint, the manager no longer under estimates you or think u as another ignorant customer. If Bajaj had any eye on each n every post, they wouldn't had replace my headlight unit!

You hit the nail on the head! They do follow the XBhp threads - at least I know they do in the South. I've nothing but praise and appreciation for PBK, first for my service levels with the N250 and now with the N650.
I'm definitely a fan - PBK seems to have the only real and tangible service network for performance bikes sold by them. Every other manufacturer is still struggling with service levels.

I knew the expected response to your mail. That is why I had mentioned the steps. But beware, the glued grip would come undone in next 3-4 months. Just drop a mail to SVC manager fearing that the grip would lose its glue and request him to rectify the issue permanently. Do not follow it up at all. So when 3-4 months down the line, it again becomes loose, you can point out your earlier mail and get a replacement.Originally posted by maheshkmr View PostMy recent experience with TVM pbk.

Well I guess I will be doing that then.
I was unhappy from the very day my bike delivery was made. When it was delivered in the showroom,It looked like a used and dirty bike I had to take it to the service center to get it washed. In fact it was not even properly washed with all the dust and much still near the chain and the engine.
I was too very excited then to make any issues.I thought the service would be good only to be greeted by the care free and irresponsible attitude of the service center people.
Based upon some good recommendations ,I have decided I would give my bike for the first service to the Auto Service people.
I will definitely update here about my experience.REVVADDICT

Finally mailed my complaint to Kolkata PBK regarding the 'shut-down' issue with my Ninja 250R, today. Within an hour i received a call from the PBK svc manager regarding the complaint. Briefed him about the symptoms and he confirmed that a technician would be visiting Bhubaneshwar(460kms off Kolkata) to diagnose the problem.
The response time was good. Lets see how quickly they sort out the issue. Its a pain to ride the bike everytime below 8k rpm, did a 350kms trip and the bike shut down like 8-10 times which was plain frustrating to ride at a constant 115km/hr, anything more and the engine shuts itself down.

Received a call from Probiking checking if the last service was satisfactory / If I had any issues or concerns to express.
I had not made any complaint nor do I speak to any official directly - I contact the mech and fix an appointment always. I expressed the concern of spare part unavailability and my ninja is grounded for 2 weeks+ becuse the battery is not available..
They assured they will fix it within a week & promised to have all the necessary spares for Ninja available all the time henceforth!
May be., Bajaj is re looking its customer service strategy to keep the customers engaged?Photo Gallery[/B]

....I am not going to explain it here to boring everyone...enough said about that svc
Thank you for your help regarding that issue. I told them not to glue it but to replace the grip as I know it will become loose again and pointed them that many bikes from pune got the grip replaced. But they declined because they got instructions to glue it. I also got an email from bajaj..ie..Originally posted by trustvishwas View PostI knew the expected response to your mail. That is why I had mentioned the steps. But beware, the glued grip would come undone in next 3-4 months. Just drop a mail to SVC manager fearing that the grip would lose its glue and request him to rectify the issue permanently. Do not follow it up at all. So when 3-4 months down the line, it again becomes loose, you can point out your earlier mail and get a replacement.
The grip looked like it lost its temper and I pointed out to him but he said he will first glue it. He even showed me another Ninja with the same issue and said "it was glued before but now became loose again so if your grip become loose come again to glue"This has reference to your feedback of rotating left hand grip in your Ninja bike and Trivandrum Dealer denying warranty replacement.
You would be aware that left side hand grips comes pasted on the handle bar tube and the glue is applied at the time of assembling hand grip to handle bar tube.
Over a period of usage, due to exposure to various atmospheric changes, the glue looses it properties, after which the grip starts rotating.
To avoid such rotation, the grip is removed from tube, cleaned and repasted again at service centre.
Other issue can be that the rubber of the grip had elongated and had become loose on the grip. In this situation the grip itself is defective and needs replacement
. I think there is no 3 or 4 months needed, it is already a bit loose now. From now on I am going to DIY the glue job

When did you left the svc? I reached there at 2 pm. Which oil you used? Have you completed run-in? Today I saw a green ninja with green tank pad parked there for first service. Anyone from here?Originally posted by manojinexplicable View PostI went for my first service at TVM PBK, last Saturday.
