Hey Bhushan, the exhaust will sound something like this... It is a full system, so you can expect a 3-5hp boost, assuming you use a power commander along with it. I also have a brand new power commander which I can sell to you also... That will set you back by another 18k, as it comes without a box... I think it retails for 21k+ in India... Cheers!!!

Thanks for the inputs buddy, but i'm not sure if I will be comfortable experimenting with the exhausts basis on "something like this / expect" .

No hard feelings but I hope you understand where I'm coming from after watching like a million videos an several reviews of two brothers/yoshimura/scorpion/akrapovich/AreaP, it sure will take me a lot more than that to change my mind.

If you have documentation of the real deal in video/photo/text that will be of help.

Thats an awesome deal Bhushan. The slip on's such as Arkapovics, Leo Vince's, Two Brothers etc. sold here cost nearly this much, so if you are getting a full system for the price of a slip-on sold here its a fantastic deal (that too incl. shipping).

It has been a while now since i return here.
I have AreaP full system CF.

I Suggest you go for 18 inch Quiet core.

The 12 inch is soring to ears after 25-25 kms even with ear buds.
Of course it is sweet sounding but tooo loud.
And if you really want loud, then go for custom 16 inch.
Kerry will help you with that.

Quiet Core 18 inch is NOT quiet at all.
It is plenty enough to stand out from the crowd and the sound is MUSICAL to ears for hours of riding in a stretch.

And, yes don't forget to inform Kerry about the sensor bung.

Have ordered for all besides the rear sets, confused if i need them from a functionality point of view... as far as looks are concerned they look super hot! They cost $200 including shipping thru ebay.

Did you think of installing the dynojet kit?
I installed PC5 with Autotune, Messed up with FE and smooth delivery.
Tried to tune it with the help of various forums and Laptop.
After 3 months i was not satisfied so gave it to my friend in abroad.

If i get a map for AreaP i would retry it.
Last time i started with Yoshi Map which is available in their website.
I also removed snorkel.

Kerry did it. (It is just a nut where you can screw in your O2 sensor)

Yes. You will be tired of it in some time and think "should i have bought a bit quieter" Unless you are a college guy.

They sure look hot. The first thing I noticed when I first rode the 250R was that "I needed rearsets". With 6 feet height, not all bikes suit me as far as riding position is concerned. My knees used to go above the "shoulder" edges of the tank, because of which it was difficult for me to grab the tank with my knees.
So I got these. and by the way how much did the black-white levers cost you? I was looking for the adjustable ones available on planetdsg, but exploring other options.

Well there's no end to modifications huh? Go for the PC-V mate, its a one time investment and you wont regret it.

Which city are you in Sam? Would love to hear the exhaust in person if possible. A friend of mine was going after the Hot Bodies MGP Growler and i asked him not to and instead advised him to go with the M4 and he's super happy with the M4. Sounds very deep and bassy and pretty loud too. But this is only a slip-on pipe that he got on the bike. I liked the sound too but the stock engine and exhaust note still turns me on.

Thanks for the pics. Dont know if its the quality of the pics but the end can doesn't look all that aesthetic in my honest opinion. Was hoping for a much more pleasing and sporty look like the Leo Vince's (ask the Italians for making anything look artistic )

If the exhaust system is designed specifically for this bike, then it wont damage anything in the long run. Meaning, if the design is done keeping the engine's limitations and specs in mind and as a baseline while testing (dyno runs etc) is safe.
