The question asked was - ideal speed band for each gear.
You replied - as close to redline as possible.
I replied - between 8 - 11 k. 8k is where we have peak torque and 11k where we have peak power.
There is no discussion about race track / road. 8 - 11k is the ideal speed band for each gear.

Guys, just got my bike delivered after the installation of the roller sensor.
But I am having a problem. When I gave the bike in for service my Km reading was 1850 and when I got it delivered it was 1867. when I asked the guy he said he had taken it for a ride to test the bike. But 17km? I don't understand the point of it? He took it for a 17km ride to test what? He could have taken it for a maximum of 4-5km.
Any of you people come across these type of issues??●● ѕσмєтιмєѕ ιт тαкєѕ α ωнσℓє тαηкυℓ σ υєℓ вєσяє уσυ αη тнιηк ѕтяαιgнт. ●●

1. Roller sensor gave up and after week of torture they finally got the sensor.
2. The gearbox now is ROCK SOLID. Too hard , so had tell them (Don't really know what they would do for a hard gearbox)
3. Removing the saree guard and also the number plate bracket
4. The tail light has literally come out so told them to check on it
5. Some problem with the clutch switch ( don't know what that is).
So if you guys have encountered similar problems please do let me know what the solution would be and what it really means?
Good day
I am still riding the bike with the glitch.Shuts down completely when revved beyond 9krpm. Even the gear shifts feel hard but after adjusting the clutch its running fine. And i have exact same problem with the rear tail lamp, it came out of its 'fixed' area and seems loose with a wide gap.
It seems both our bikes have the exact same issue. Did you try revving the bike after the replacement of the roller sensor?
And yes, 17kms is too long a ride for a test.

Rohit, If it is that you gave the bike to Jeeva, You dont have to worry much.
I think he might have taken it for multiple rides to check if everything is OK. Check if the bike is alright, dont worry much about everything else.Photo Gallery[/B]

Any of you people come across these type of issues??. I gave the bike for an oil change but they took 6 days to deliver and when I got it the low fuel lamp was glow(when I gave the bike it had enough fuel to go over 50 kms before the low fuel lamp would glow). Now I don't mind these things because I am fed up with those d**k heads
.
btw, is there any problem if we don't change the spark plugs on time? Mine is cloked over 18 k kms and had recently done the 4 th service. Service manual recomends to change at 12 k but they didn't changed it in 3rd service. This time I said them to change it when I gave the bike. But when they delivered the bike after 3 days mechanic said he forgot (some other things too). Same is with the valve clearance. I can hear a slight tappet noice like sound but mechanic says it is perfectly fine. And they still couldn't fixed the weired noice coming from the front wheel. As someone clarified here I asked them to grease the speedo worm assembly, but no use.

Yea I know he's excellent but I am afraid that it was not him who rode the vehicle. It was the other guy forgot his name but he told me he took it for a ride to check if the bike really had the sensor problem (Before installation of the roller sensor). Jeeva anna took it for a ride when I had come to take the bike for delivery. Jeeva anna took it for a 3km ride but the other guy did a whooping 17km for no reason as I had already told him that the bike had the sensor problem. Just to confirm if the problem persisted he took it for a ride.( That is what he had told me)
